one long and two short, means video adapter error. either video adapter is bad or is not seated properly. also, check to ensure the monitor cable is connected properly.

the normal beep on start-up is one beep. i'm guessing three means that there's a problem. considering that your screen doesn't display, i'm going to have to say the power supply or your on board graphics are burned out

my mom has hypoglycemia, she gets "spells" when her blood sugar gets low and she gets really shaky and we have to give her something sugary to drink, but she hesitates for some reason.
