incase you didn't know, leeroy jenkins is from a really old video, it was later proven to be staged for a guild promotion.
this video was the first take of the skit and has a few differences to what the actual video was

Forum Games / decorate the tree

in my signature i have a tree, i want to decorate it
but i burnt all my christmas decorations to make room for replica clown shoes.
please donate your donations to the tree, literally anything, presents, baubles, stars, your stool sample, whatever.

scaling issues?
tips - use nearest neighbor scaling and disable anti-aliasing. upload to imgur. do not modify the size or remove the transparency or i'll forgetin murder you

decorations don't need to be on the pixel grid, but you can do that if you want tooo
once we hit peak festive, it'll go into my signature until 2018

Off Topic / youtube runs incredibly stufftily on firefox; is it just me? -solved-

ever since the new layout update came out, youtube videos have been loading choppily in firefox, but when i open the same video in chrome it's at perfect 60fps with no stuttering.
the choppiness of the videos also slows down any game i am watching, which it never did before (if i have the video open on my second monitor, the performance of any game goes from 60fps to bouncing between 40-60fps.

i'm going to address the "solutions" you're probably going to give me;

• is your computer just running slow? while my computer isn't the greatest in the world, it could handle youtube before the layout and firefox v57 update. considering how it can handle 1080p 60fps videos on chrome, it's not my computer, rather the differences between browsers
• why not just use chrome? currently, i'm using chrome for watching videos only. i personally dislike how chrome looks (window design just looks weird for me, idk why; no userstyle looks good to me.) and would prefer not to use it.
• update your drivers all drivers are up to date on my computer and there are no problems there. once again, not my machine causing the problem.
• revert to an earlier version of firefox/youtube layout maybe? i have tried older builds of firefox, but the same problem still occurs. additionally the old youtube layout is only marginally less laggy and choppy (still visible to see the video stuttering and page slowness). i have also tried an addon which claims to help youtube videos on firefox, but it only made it even worse.

if you still think it's my machine, you can do a bit of research on it; specs here

i have been dealing with this for a week and any information about this online is scarce (most google results just gives me posts from like 2012, which is for an entirely different problem); i want to know if anyone else on the forums uses firefox and has noticed the same problems, and if possible how they solved it.


solved, findings in thread; if you don't wanna read then i'll sum it up for anyone else with the same problem.

• uBlock origin seems to have an effect on video smoothness.
• reverting to the old layout can reduce the stuttering.
• waterfox functions much nicer on youtube, thanks hootaloo for the suggestion

for a while i've wanted to host a blockparty, so i finally got around to it.
rules are;

• 1. do not spam bricks or chat
• 2. you must blend your area with the surrounding terrain
• 3. do not intentionally annoy other players
• 4. buildbot is forbidden, anyone caught buildbotting will have their build destroyed.
• 5. music bricks must be togglable (similar to trogtor's floating city freebuild)

i'll upgrade the op if the server gains momentum

don't know the exact name of it, but the only thing close i could find to it using search has a dead download.
i know this addon exists as it's used in a few gamemodes.

incase you didn't know, you can add "width=1000" to keep your images at a good size that will not cause page stretches.

remember the previous shotgun challenge server? where the rails made everything unnaturally difficult and unfun? i took your death threats kind and well structured complaints and we decided to throw rails out of the window and redid the entire loving thing.
now the challenge requires actual skill instead of luck. go forget yourself.
