I'm not taking sides in this, but I have one thing to say.
For everyone saying "Stop whining! Everyone lost some stuff!" Shut the forget up.
Just because other people are more tolerant to losing their builds doesn't mean everyone is. Just because other people lost work to doesn't mean hours of building time is going to magically appear again. For example if someone rear ends you, you get out to complain to them, and they say "Oh well, everyone gets in accidents, stop whining." Thats not going to make the $5,000 in damages go away any faster.
