Yes, you do. But that doesn't mean consequences don't apply. For example, if you walked up to a bodybuilder and tell him you forgeted his wife, you have freedom to say that, but it doesn't mean he isn't going to knock you the forget out. If you walk up to a cop and say you are going to shoot him, you are able to say that, but it doesn't mean you aren't going to get thrown to the curb in handcuffs for making threats. You insulted someone with you're 'Freedom of speech'. A ban was the consequence.
People seem to think freedom of speech means you can say whatever you want to whoever you want with no consequences. That thought is dead wrong.

Well... this wasn't really an awkward moment for me, but it sure as hell is funny.
We have swimming as a mandatory part of our gym class at school. Their was this fat girl in our class. A couple of minutes into class the gym teacher approached the girl and said "If you are pregnant you don't have to swim." The girl replied "What! I'm not pregnant!"
