How would you feel making lots of money only to be taken in a way that says, "You have more money than everyone else, now give it to me. Now you're like everyone else, *troll face*"
i would be 100% okay with that, as long as the money went towards worthy stuff and not to line the pockets of politicians

So, if we tax wealthier people more, our debt will magically disappear?
there's nothing we can do to make our debt disappear, but taxing the rich more will help a lot

Living in a country should include your help in supporting fellow citizens
this so hard. even after 30% taxation, that's 700k a year assuming you make a mil each year. if you're really hurting for money with 700k a year, you're really bad at managing your finances

Of course not. Businesses run this country, but I don't support higher taxation on the middle classes either.
why not? i'm sure you can afford to give up your second yacht in order to benefit society as a whole

You imply that all wealthy people are fat and dumb. Why do you think we have so much money? We aren't dumb you know, we just worked our asses off to obtain it.
do you support higher taxation on the rich?

It's what we're already doing. It's what we've been doing ever since the income tax was set up.
i was using that in more of a "keep doing this" context

Future-proof it!

Oh Obama, Lincoln by every definition was a Democrat by today's standards.

Don't use that to make you seem bipartisan, actually try to be bipartisan.
considering the current republican candidates, he should be trying as hard as he can to NOT be bipartisan
