Drama / Re: RP Weather by JJstorm stolen from Iban's CityRPG
« on: September 10, 2010, 06:23:19 PM »
Disagreed, Ibans addons/servers do have some good and bad parts but doesn't all servers/addons?

Furthermore this topic is true i did take Ibans code. He did come to me in RTB IRC and talk to me about this I admit i did take the code. But only because he had made it already, and I was making it but he had everything made out. I have given him credit so is there any reason to this topic?

P.S. Drama will be drama
You used part of Iban's code. Just give that a moment to sink in.
You are so bad at coding that Iban's code was an improvement from what you wrote.

Drama / Re: Why CityRP should be banned

City RP should be replaced with cashmod. That was the only good addon that helped RP. Wrench stealing in the days of yore was the whole reason you played RPs.

Everything about Iban sucks. His code, him, his servers, etc.

handicap, stealing is wrong in all ways.
If you're gonna steal code, at least don't steal Iban's poorly optimized/cigarettegy code.

Wow, that's low. Stealing Iban's code? Really? You can't find a better coder to steal from?

Any half-decent encryption key would take 100 years with all the processing power in the world to break.

They're both always up, but only one is visible at a time. And the only good thing about the LLA server is the teleporter to the thunderdome.

once again
kills with raycasting weapons are sheed.
I loving hate raycast weapons too, but shut up. Just because a weapon is hitscan doesn't automatically mean it requires no skill to use.

A tool wand that incorporates the wrench, printer, and the duplicator would be better.
IIRC, someone made a multitool that did just that. The main problem with it, though, was that switching between tools was annoying and the only real use for it was the tool that just completely removed blocks and left other ones floating.

Or, if you don't like it, you could simply not go to Off-Topic.
Problem solved.
I like Off-Topic when it's not being infested with stuffty topics like this one.

Although you should probably try to learn a programming language like basic, a very good introductory game making program called Scratch is something worth looking into. It is visual, so newbies can work with it easily.
http://scratch.mit.edu

Check it out and see if it fits your needs, but I highly recommend learning true programming as I was only 11 when I started using basic.
No. Scratch teaches you nothing about programming. You just drag and drop things.
