No where in any section of the rules does it state that you cannot swear. Only if you are choice words at a player is when its a problem.Didn't you warn me for saying forget when I botched a rocketjump?
why would i agree to a rule that is stupidIf you can't agree to a rule that you think is stupid, get off the server. If you don't agree with it but will still follow it, that's fine. I hate the fact that there's a no swearing rule, too, but I can manage to contain myself.

quake 3 is quake arena, dated 1999, yes?RL is good for combat in a compact area, but otherwise, you can beat it easily with most weapons.

run aroundYou were playing Quake 1. In Q3, the RL isn't a god cannon. You can harass them at range with the LG, spam the direction they're coming from with grenades, jump over their head and shotgun them, snipe them with a railgun, and use their rockets to propel yourself to a safe place. Every Q3 weapon is balanced (except for the MG, but then again, you start with it). Hell, even the BFG has low splash.

that game was so boringly easy i just stopped playing in 2000.
