You know, whenever im in a mood to just have fun, i just play a video game. Just like everyone else. However the only genre of games thats right up My alley is RTSes, as theyre very easy to pick up and play.
Except for Warzone 2100, that stuff is loving impossible.
However, my all time favorite 2D RTS is
Command & Conquer: Red Alert!
If anyone here knows about Command & Conquer, call me a weeb all you want because i dont care. I loving love this franchise.
As for people who dont know about Command & Conquer:
Command & Conquer (abbreviated as C&C or CnC) is a real-time strategy video game franchise, first developed by Westwood Studios. The first game was one of the earliest of the RTS genre, itself based on Westwood Studios' landmark strategy game Dune 2 and introducing trademarks followed in the rest of the series. This includes full motion video cutscenes with a notable ensemble cast to progress the story, as opposed to digitally in-game rendered cutscenes.

So upon starting the game, it may look like an Visual Novel to you. However, if youre curious and like to explore in games, youll eventually discover:
The game is actually a 2D RTS! It just has some Visual Novel segments inbetween levels to pad things out.
Also, if the game looks anything like Fallout, thats probably because it should.
The gameplay is very traditional, you can walk, jump, stomp on enemies, the usual. However, you can also shoot weapons that are actually Soviet Gadgets from the anime!
Shooting isnt equipped by grabbing a power up, its actually a main key element to the gameplay!
So yeah, i have my own personal favorite 2D RTS. Any questions?
