I don't really like GameGrumps. I feel that Jontron at least makes better videos on his own. Haven't watched much of Egoraptor though.

Mandatory Healthcare anybody?
Gun Control?
Being part of one of the two major parties?

Mandatory healthcare is about the same as being forced to pay taxes to fund a military. It's taxes you have to pay, even if you don't support them. I don't really see why giving people healthcare is such an issue.

I'm going to catch some heat from this, but all these shootings seem set up. A school is shot up, and suddenly we are pushing gun control laws, even though stuff like this has been around for a while? (think columbine)

Independants never get many votes.

The Eleventh Plague
That book is just amazing.
It was pretty good, even though I thought it drew on a few parallels from the Fallout universe, like the war with the Chinese, and the slavers.

A Simcity/Sims game that is made entirely by the 1999 Maxis team, imported from the past, working outside of EA's grip.

Games / Favorite games?

What game is your favorite? The game that made you look at it and think "This is more than just a game, it is a..."

Mine was the original Half Life. It was unlike anything else I'd ever played of felt before. It was the first time a game had ever scared me, and I loved it. Every scene was built with such a passion I felt almost like I was there. The lo-res textures didn't matter. It was the atmosphere. The radiation made me want to move away, the aliens filled me with curiosity and the levels made me think. It wasn't just a game for me. It was an adventure, and expirience and a puzzle. And it was perfect.

I'm going for the Clean Hands and Ghost Achievements.

Never kill, never detected.

24 hours in, third mission. Kill me now.

Seriously, who decided this, "Let's give the player all these awesome, fun ways to kill people, then discourage killing people with a bad ending and achievements."

Why do I have to suck at stealth games so much? Why did I buy Thief after this when I suck at stealth games?
This, this so much. The game has a bit of a horror element akin to a novel's. It isn't full of jumpscares or anything, but all this worlds problems just pile on top of your own characters problems. As a result, it is past midnight and my heart is beating way too fast.

Why didn't I buy Far Cry 3...

This game taught me that I am not a person who likes to wait. Like, at all.

Enemies having a conversation? forget them.

Person complaining? Screw them.

Others' existence? forget that.

By the 5-6 level, I had gone from a try-hard kill when I must guy to a walk-in-stabbing-and-teleporting-and-pausing-time-and-stuff guy.

Holy stuff is it fun.
