Sorry, but thats a load of total crap.

If we are on the same page here, You're playing 4.0.1. Rogues got mega buffed, so there is no way you hit that much before 4.0.1. Anyways.. My level 27 rogue FINALLY crit 1000 with a 5 point eviscerate a few hours ago. His gear is not bad either. http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Uther&cn=Zenero.

TL;DR You didn't crit that high.
