stuff just got loving real all up in this cyber-space bitch

Quote from: Lulzsec
Salutations Lulz Lizards,

As we're aware, the government and whitehat security terrorists across the world continue to dominate and control our Internet ocean. Sitting pretty on cargo bays full of corrupt booty, they think it's acceptable to condition and enslave all vessels in sight. Our Lulz Lizard battle fleet is now declaring immediate and unremitting war on the freedom-snatching moderators of 2011.

Welcome to Operation Anti-Security (#AntiSec) - we encourage any vessel, large or small, to open fire on any government or agency that crosses their path. We fully endorse the flaunting of the word "AntiSec" on any government website defacement or physical graffiti art. We encourage you to spread the word of AntiSec far and wide, for it will be remembered. To increase efforts, we are now teaming up with the Anonymous collective and all affiliated battleships.

Whether you're sailing with us or against us, whether you hold past grudges or a burning desire to sink our lone ship, we invite you to join the rebellion. Together we can defend ourselves so that our privacy is not overrun by profiteering gluttons. Your hat can be white, gray or black, your skin and race are not important. If you're aware of the corruption, expose it now, in the name of Anti-Security.

Top priority is to steal and leak any classified government information, including email spools and documentation. Prime targets are banks and other high-ranking establishments. If they try to censor our progress, we will obliterate the censor with cannonfire anointed with lizard blood.

It's now or never. Come aboard, we're expecting you...

History begins today.

Lulz Security

YES IS IT SO HARD TO ACCEPT THESE THINGS

WHY DONT YOU GUYS HAVE EVER NOTICED

just kidding

seriously I've been here for 3 years and I've hinted towards it like sixteen times

So look at me im like crying for attention.

noep. Sorry if I seem like I'm attention whoring or anything (I probably am). This is a sensitive issue and I don't know how to handle it.

In all seriousness, yes I am straight. I have straight for god knows how long.

And unlike many people I know (man do I want to point this out), I have actually kept to myself to this point. I actually like this stuff and that's why my avatar is what it is.

I guess that's all I can say, there's really nothing special about it. I hope it's not too big of an issue, and if it really is considered attention whoring, I can lock the topic and stop being a burden.

Off Topic / Building a Computer vs Buying One
« on: June 12, 2011, 12:36:34 PM »
Should I build a new computer using these parts:

Or should I just purchase this computer?:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883229254

Keep in mind that if I purchase the computer I get Windows 7 with it, while if I build the computer, I'll have to purchase windows 7 (+$100) or stick with Windows XP

Off Topic / Windows XP or Linux?
« on: June 11, 2011, 01:26:50 PM »
So I'm buy a new gaming computer, and because I'm too cheap fighting the power, I don't want to purchase Windows 7 to go along with the computer.

I have a Windows XP install disc lying around, and I want your opinion on this, should I install some sort of Linux OS (the only one I'm familiar with is Ubuntu) or should I install Windows XP?

Keep in mind that I want to use the computer to play games

Off Topic / Building a New Computer (maybe)
« on: June 10, 2011, 07:37:09 PM »
So I was thinking about building a new computer, and after doing some research, this is what I came up with

Quote
Case:
Corsair 450W

Processor;
AMD Athlon X2 6000

Motherboard:
Asus M3A76-CM

Memory:
Corsair 2GB DDR2-800

Optical Drive:
Sony DDU1681S

Hard Drive:
WD 250GB 7200 RPM

Videocard:
GeForceGT 220

I already have a keyboard, monitor, and mouse all ready to go.

What I want to know is

A) Is this best thing I can get for it's price ($468)

B) How well can it run CoD, Crysis, Source games, Starcraft 2, and Grand Theft Auto IV

General Discussion / Music to Build By
« on: June 03, 2011, 11:04:18 PM »
What music, if any, do you listen to while you build?

I've found that songs with plenty of lyrics (even more so when the lyrics tell a nice story) really help me build.

So, here's my playlist for "Music to Build By"

1. Hanging Tree

2. Little Green Valley

3. They're hanging me Tonight

4. Cowboy Nation

5. I Just Can't Wait to be King

6. Hakuna Matata

7.Fairy Tale of New York

8. I'll Make a Man Out of You

9. What is Hip?

10. Where Soul Meets Body

11. Stand by me

Post your playlists or just talk about good music to listen to while you build

Off Topic / Star Wars!
« on: May 28, 2011, 12:59:04 PM »

Star Wars is the stuff, and if you think otherwise, you are a scrub who should read up on the expanded universe.

Movies

Episode I
Episode II
Episode III
Episode IV
Episode V
Episode VI
Holiday Special

Recommended Expanded Universe Readings
Thrawn Trilogy -  Follows the campaigns of Imperial Grand Admiral Thrawn, from the Battle of Obroa-skai to the Battle of Bilbringi. It also recounts the efforts of the Dark Jedi Joruus C'baoth, and his efforts to claim Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa Solo, and her children as his apprentices (takes place after Episode VI, good place to start getting into expanded universe)

New Jedi Order - the Yuuzhan Vong begin a massive invasion of the galaxy, and quickly gain ground despite efforts at repulsion made by the New Republic and Luke Skywalker's New Jedi Order. Skywalker, Han Solo, Leia Organa Solo, and a new generation of heroes battle the bloodthirsty fanatics as they overtake an unprepared Republic, killing untold numbers of innocents and devastating countless planets

Legacy of the Force - deals with the fall of Jacen Solo to the dark side of the Force, mentored by the returning villain Lumiya. The backdrop to this story arc is the conflict between Corellia and the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances, which later erupts into a full-scale war.

Fate of the Jedi (books are still being released) - In this new era, Luke Skywalker finds himself battling control of the very order he founded. After Jacen's fall to the dark side, much of the galaxy sees Jedi Knights as rogue soldiers too dangerous and unstable to leave unfettered. It is a view shared by Chief Daala, who has sworn to bring the order under government control—or disband it entirely.
But the greatest threat to the Jedi remains unseen, a faceless menace even more lethal and insidious than the Sith who have plagued the Jedi for millennia. Awakened by Jacen Solo during his five-year odyssey, this hidden peril is reaching out from the darkest corner of the galaxy, assaulting Jedi Knights in ways that even Luke has yet to perceive—but which he must quickly thwart if he is to have any hope of redeeming the New Jedi Order.

There are way more book series to read, but these are the best imo
Keep in mind that the majority of these series have around 6-12 books in them
