Mine's a piece of stuff. It turns .zips into .efws for some reason and it corrupts oodles of files when I'm downloading them.

Anyone know a good anti-spyware?

Games / LBP is getting an update!

It’s nearly here, the cheese we’ve all been waiting for! On Monday 30th, Leerdammer will update LittleBigPlanet to 1.21, and deliver Online Create, Save and Networking improvements, increased profile space, and and loads of awesome enhancements and new features! All for free I might add.

Other than online creation (FINALLY), LBP might be getting water finally :D

Off Topic / Story writing, anyone?

My sister showed me this thing she found out about from some of her friends called Nanowrimo. It's a National Novel Writing thing, where you write a novel in a month if possiable. I've been thinking about trying to write/enter a story, but I don't really have anything to base it around. As in, I need a topic. I've been thinking zombies, but I'm not sure.

Any ideas?

Modification Help / Flatshading problem.

Well I've been working on some models and I can't seem to get the Flatshading right, I tried what Pandan told me to do:

Select all
(Groups tab) check auto smooth on.
Unweld
Un check auto smooth.
Weld together.

Tada!

I look at the textured bit inside Milkshape, looks flatshaded. I put it in BL and it's smooth shaded. Then I tried Trader's flatshade tutorial, and it just made the model completely loving disappear ingame.

Really kinda pissed, can I get some help?

My dad's been looking at some desktop recently that he might one, and he is giving his old compter (laptop) to my mom (sadface) and since my stuffty desktop broke down, I might try and get my mom's old laptop, which is really just for using internet and stuff, but it can run Blockland on high settings.

Been wondering if I could get a better video card and processor for it, anyone know of any cheap places?

Gallery / Egibum Seatown (Image Heavy)

Egibum, though not the original name, is a sea town I originally had an idea for in one of my comics I doodle, a small sea-based town built mostly on stilts and a few surrounding islands for islanders and sea travelers alike. I decided to make it for my application, but it failed (:sadface:). The build consists of regular boat docks, a front room, a small restaurant, a town meeting building, a residential island, a medical bay, and a large cargo ship port. Now for pics:

Off Topic / Logitech Headset Problems

I had to get a new headset since one of the earbuds had been snapped off and it was the only one had worked (my left earbud blew out). This new headset would be nice, if it wasn't constantly playing an assload of static when I'm doing anything, even when I'm just sitting at my desktop. Anyone know how I could fix this piece of crap before I sell it and get a new one?

Also, it's a ClearChat Pro USB Headset by Logitech
