This is like calling Webkinz or whatever it is for adults. Blockland really is a social gathering for teens, the kids kinda smelt in.

Games / Re: Team Fortress Two: Classes
« on: October 18, 2008, 07:14:47 PM »
there aren't 'better' classes. valve works hard at keeping TF2 balanced, so all classes are equally powerful. while some may be easy to use (pyro, sniper) and some may be harder (spy, engineer) valve does a good enough job at balancing so that there isn't a single class that can dominate the rest.

just try out all the classes until you find some more you like. you shouldn't just stick with one, either, it's better for the team if you're versatile and can use multitudes of different classes.
He rasies a point. But that doesn't mean you can't be dominate with one class. If you can hone your skills well enough, you could dominate everyone/class in a server.

Suggestions & Requests / Re: Keypad Brick

I have a better idea. It's an input event system; when you push a brick, a GUI will pop up, containing a keypad that uses a 4-digit code. Within the events, if the code is wrong, there can be an event for both right and wrong.

It won't require any engine changes, seeing how the models DO, infact, spawn :D
That's not the point. Yes, of course, they spawn. That's how we enter a server or revive from death. What I'm getting at is the whole thing. Is it really possiable to bring another game into Blockland, especially one like SSB?

Depending on what game your bringing here, keep games the forget out of blockland.

no one gives a forget whether the quran or the holy book of satan or w/e someone, somewhere believes, is in the game.
That's what I'm getting at. It's just a game, big deal if there's music in it about a religion.

loving THANK YOU GODS OF GAMING!  Tee hee CAD I'm getting some money today, and more money just before release, and may have just enough!
Same. I don't care what my mum says, I'm getting a used PS3 for $40 cheaper then a new one. I just ask if it has problems or not, save recpiet, come back and return it if it doesn't work, and get $40-$50 dollars from me mum! That easy really.

LittleBigPlanet Release Update
By SackBoy103 Last Updated: 10/17/2008 3:24:29 PM

We're sure that most of you have heard by now that one of the background music tracks that was licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur'an.  We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologize for any offense this may have caused.

We will begin shipping LittleBigPlanet to retail in North America the week of October 27th.
