I'm not really sure why you're trying to hit home so hard with this, sure it's weird but the stuff was seven years ago and he was young. It's like making fun of someone for stuffting their diaper as a baby.
As I said a few pages back:
Not that I intend to defend him here. I was going to for a while, because it seemed like he was treating this thread with the respect it deserved, and it seemed like an improvement over how he was back then. But then he jumped into the "total biscuit is now dead" thread, bringing up TotalBiscuit's infamous "get cancer and die" remark from 2009, with stuff like:
karma is a bitch.
he told people to get cancer and die, and he got cancer and died. it's funny, come on.

Evidently GreenBH is okay with making fun of people over dumb regrettable stuff they did nearly a decade ago. And "dumb regrettable stuff they did nearly a decade ago" is basically his whole identity here, so I'd say ridiculing him for his underaged coat special interest is fair game.

did you think a post with a panda emote was serious?
The part of it not immediately preceding the panda emote, yes. Are you now looking to take back the entire "I was blackmailed" story after thinking about it for more than ten seconds?

Regardless, the allegations very specifically mentioned a whole "women in coat masturbating" thing, and you affirmed it with no caveats whatsoever.

don't remember
I too have trouble remembering things that didn't happen.

You didn't even deny it:
Blaaaaaargh! I finally get to explain and settle all this!

Yes, this is true. The parch is true. I do like (pretty) women in coats. I would actully find it exciting if a pretty woman in a coat was stalking me...

if I said why I said that, I'd be banned.
Ooh, what a subtle way to say you were trolling without actually using the T-word! That's good; your reputation is saved via classic use of "jokes on them I was only pretending". And boy, what a brilliant approach to the "look how handicapped I am hurr durr" step! It's the con of the century! Man, how we were fooled...

so i guess greenbh is an imposter according to greenblockhead on blockland, i did a blid lookup and greenbh doesnt come under greenblockhead at all, will get screenshots in a bit
Why would anyone willingly impersonate someone with that history and then be so boring about it? It's like impersonating Pie Crust then acting apologetic about the bestiality. Maybe it's some old ban-on-sight user, looking to camouflage their stuffty attitude by making it look good in comparison to the reputation that name carries? Or maybe it's just some short-sighted plan by Green to distance his forum account from his history.

Regardless, the one here either has or wanted the reputation of the kid who thought lag was added as a deliberate feature so nothing is really changed for GreenBH³.

WHAT THE forget
Err, you know you linked it in the OP, right? Was the plan to half-ass the content of the thread and use fancy formatting hoping nobody would notice? Because the quotes listed are pretty plain, and compiling them all as a case against him for the crime of being unfunny is kinda saying more about your ability to handle a mild nuisance than about his behavior.

Seems like everyone I want banned has already been banned, returned under a variant of their username, and repeated that three more times and now I can't recognize anyone. Can't keep these alts straight.

Can we put "Everyone who voted" on the poll? No idea if this is supposed to be some big social experiment but it'd be a pretty fun way to turn it into one.

I was also thinking "Anyone whose total post count in 'Drama' and 'Off Topic' are greater than their combined post counts everywhere else." But that's a bit too long to fit on a poll and would eliminate basically everybody still active here.

Maybe consider hiring a speechwriter; this isn't exactly making things easier.

Can someone explain to me what the forget is a gamerghazi

https://www.reddit.com/r/GamerGhazi/

Was originally the anti-GamerGate subreddit. Now it's more general in focus. This pinned thread from the shared mod account summarizes the place pretty well.

is there any comprehensive rebuttal anywhere? there's a lot of sources pointing to evidence that the thing was more about harassment than actual gaming journalism ethics.
Don't know of anything specifically against the Wikipedia article, but KiA is the general hub for pro-GamerGate stuff nowadays. They keep a bunch of articles here. Obviously their collection is a bit biased too but if you want the other side, there it is.

Environment Change Notice

This simple script will alert everyone when an admin has started messing with the environment, so you no longer have to wonder who is doing it. Features a bit of logic to avoid spamming the chat when one person is continuously tweaking it.

Warning: May cause telepathy in horses.

Add-Ons / Re: Event_Keypad - Create Keypads with Secure Passwords!
« on: November 19, 2017, 10:04:21 AM »
Doesn't exactly protect you from people looking over your shoulder though.
If you wanted to try and avoid that, you could build the keypad out of 1x1fs and make the buttons not blink when pressed. Or you could provide a handy smoke grenade spawn right next to it. Or just weapons, if damage is enabled. There's really not much else I can do about that though.

The point isn't really for them to have the same purpose as real world keypads: "allow in only a specific set of people". In reality, the possibility of people spying on the password, or slipping through the door by following someone who does have the code, or sharing it with someone untrustworthy, are all unfortunate weaknesses in the system that people tolerate due to cost and/or convenience. In Blockland, you can already achieve that goal in an even more secure way, with things like variable events that check for BLIDs. The point of using keypad events, then, would be to deliberately introduce the same weaknesses as the real world keypad, to add to the gameplay experience in some way. The security of the add-on is just there to prevent an additional weakness introduced by Blockland's events system, which could be considered using meta-game knowledge.

So yeah, "It's a feature".

I read through you "wall-o-text" now and found out an misunderstanding of why a salt is used. Instead of explaining it with my broken english, I'll hand you a link to wikipedia to brief you about the topic:

Salt (cryptography)
Honestly, I wasn't sure what to call it when I first wrote this several years ago, so I just lifted the term from Age of Time and rolled with it. I probably could have changed it since then, but it kinda stuck, and it isn't too far off. I guess going by the article it would be more accurate to call it a "public salt"? There it's listed as a mistake but as discussed already, it suits my purposes pretty well. I don't care too much about passwords being super secure against those with supreme authority on servers, because they can easily package /setBrickPassword and have it take notes if they're so inclined. Super Admins are the ones who get to view the server's salt and consequently transfer saves. It seems sufficient to trust them to keep it secret. And as long as it is secret, it's nearly impossible for end users to reverse engineer passwords.

People download the save and discovers the hash. It then bruteforces on the server that had the hash with their own event until they find a match. It's no harder than that and could easily be made with a script for automation.
That would still be possible if the individual events' salts could be edited. Maybe I misunderstood your proposal? Being able to duplicate keypads within a server is by design.

I'm not too worried about anyone using a password for a Blockland build that they use for something more important. Brute forcing within a server will be a very slow process. It's feasible with 3 or 4 digit passwords, but for an alphanumeric code, it'll become much harder. Besides that, anyone who is going around typing their important passwords into Blockland servers is already a huge security liability to themselves. I could possibly take some measures that might save one or two of them from false confidence, but this add-on already spouts enough walls of text, and I'm willing to gamble that the few who do make that mistake don't stand to lose much.
