Geralt of Rivia refused to pay a fine and was shot in the chest with arrows during a cutscene.

Cheap leather?
Ooh, you're right. Thought that was metallic. Hang on...

Any better? No idea what that one is made of, but that looks like the kind of guy who would beat the stuff out of you if you tried to cry on his shoulder.

Games / Re: top 5 gaming easter eggs.

2. The skulls (Halo 3) Skattered through Halo 3 are some of the hardest easter eggs to obtain.
Bullstuff, all you need is a video walkthrough and you can gather them all up in a few hours, and that's a generous estimate. The Scarab Gun was much harder, and was a much better easter egg.

btw, these are only from games I own.
List every game you own. There has to be some better ones in there.

There aren't enough cheats anymore.
No kidding. Sure, people argue that they take the fun out of the game, but they can go forget themselves.

Suggestions & Requests / Re: First-Person tumble event
« on: September 14, 2011, 07:32:38 PM »
It won't work normally because you control the camera object while tumbling. You'd probably need to recode the tumble function to revoke the player's control in some other way.

Help / Re: High datablock count = lag ?
« on: September 14, 2011, 05:03:08 PM »
Datablock count shouldn't make a significant difference in game performance. They may influence load times, but don't cut back on necessities by considering this. The bricks and building have been optimized with large builds in mind. I would advise simply building however looks best.

Well considuring half the people say it is sense its bad coding.. Its an amazing tool when it works right, but when it doesn't its a pain.
I'm  proposing it be redesigned with efficiency and stability in mind as part of the game, not a simple inclusion as a default add-on.

I would have just to get it off my chest.
The Blockland Forums doesn't make for the best shoulder to cry on.

forget tony get out.
The game is not what you want it to be, that doesn't mean you have to complain.

If you want to just run through the game, which does not have levels by the way just quests like any other rpg, that's your perogative. Just because you can run past stuff doesn't mean you have to, if you want to be scared by the game it is thoroughly scary.

Half the time when you die there is no way to avoid it, when you are walking around fighting off hordes of zombies with a broken machete and then 5 infected come charging at you from nowhere and kill you in two hits, there is no strategy or thought process that will get you through the mission. You just have to die and go back to the location and fight the slightly diminished numbers of zombies.
If you had to restart to a certain point in the game everytime you died you would never beat the game.
Eww, I hate the feeling of having to accomplish a mission by throwing myself at it repeatedly instead of through skill.

General Discussion / Re: Should Duplicator & Fill Can be Default?
« on: September 13, 2011, 10:56:48 AM »
The duplicator should be kept an RTB mod and not default, sense you need the RTB prefs to even have the Duplicator working, for limits and such.
Yeah, it's not like we have an advanced server configuration menu available before starting a server.

But either way, it should stay an add on, let the new people learn to build piece by piece so they can get used to things, then spam everything.
You say that like the duplicator is a bad thing. It isn't, provided the settings are not set to stupid-high levels. The settings could be capped, and other settings could be added.

The fifteen-twenty part was sarcasm. The rest of his post made it obvious to me at least
I'd code it right now but I'm devoting the next month and a half to working on my gun-edit.

Games / Re: Dead Island mysterious lag problem

Non-dev version is 1.1+ I think.  I have 1.2 last I checked.
No idea how to check. Steam should mandate change logs and keep update history separate from the regular news. Still, Steam probably has mine on the latest version, and if his was installed from the retail copy that never had that problem, then it probably isn't the dev version.

I tried some solutions that were posted around, namely toggling VSync and switching to single player mode, neither worked, or I did it wrong.
