i don't think the color of the outline is my problem, it's how they are created/what tool is used
besides that, in art i'm trying to drive away from the show in certain ways, that being one of them
Maybe go for a more painted feel? Use the outline like a coloring book and paint over it? Oh oh or maybe use the air brush or smudge the outline into the color! Man I really should start drawing again.

yeah i know
i'm trying to figure out how to make outlines that satisfy myself. i tried no outlines a few times, it didn't really feel like what i wanted. i know i don't want black outlines, too cartoony and feels like vector work.

i don't really know how to figure it out though, so basically i'm playing around with these weekly thing-an-episode drawings. forcing myself to do a drawing within a day is hard to adjust to, since i usually would take three or more days on a drawing i cared about
Maybe make the outlines a darker shade of the inner color like in the show? I prefer black and white for my art so I don't have the best understanding on this. I'm sure some of the guys and gals at r/mlpdrawingschool would have some awesome tips if you asked.

soft lines are coolbro tho
Depends on the artists style and intended feel for the artwork. There's also a difference between soft lines and feathery/sketchy lines.

Hot damn, that's a lovey rig. I'm not to partial to white, pain in the but to clean, but that is definitely a fine piece of computer.

You and I have pretty much the same specs besides the brand of RAM.

yay i finished not feeling like it was total crap

Your lines are sketchy and feathery. Not sure if that's what you're going for. If it's not, a new layer and going over them before coloring is a super easy fix.

I personally believe that humans were put on the Earth as a cancer. We were sent here to destroy it, and once we're done we'll go to another planet and do the same. If you look at the earth from space, you'll see these disgusting clouds of smog and waste in the air above metropolis. It's an infection. If a bomb were to hit downtown Chicago right now, it'd be rebuilt in a year and it'd look like nothing ever happened. If someone dies, 3 replace them.
That sure is a depressing way of looking at it. I'd give my two-cents but you seem to have very differing ideals and opinions than I do and I'd prefer to not start anything.

You can take it in 7th grade? I thought maybe the Pre-ACT, but I was sure you'd have to wait at least until 9th to be allowed to take the ACT
I was allowed since I was in every advanced placement class they had at my middle school plus I was in PE.A.K. which is pretty much the cream of the crop class, so to speak. If you were in PEAK you were given a choice to take it. It's seriously not that big of a deal.

I'm a fairly smart person usually, I just wished I had acted with a bit more forethought in the past.

medical technician is top dollar, i'm sure you can find a use for it in the military.
I've always wanted to help design and build prosthetic plus I'd love to get into this new organic 3d printing. Shoot, I even have designs one how to implant a cool set of wings on a person. All that you would need to remove is a small section of the shoulder blade and insert a smaller shoulder joint. New shoulder connects to a wrist on the wing much like bats and avians. Muscles are either attached to shoulder muscles that pull when you flex your shoulders or move them forward or added in independently. The real trick would be getting the nerves from the new wing to work correctly with the brain but I've gotten some cool ideas from the new prosthetic that have come out in the past couple of years.

Look at me, I'm rambling.
