Background / True topic idea-
For the next few days, I plan to work on a mecha build in my free time, and with the posting of my last, WIP mecha, I got very good results, and some good tips. Now, I want to make something like that over again (maybe to replace that mecha permanently.) However, I started off thinking to myself "What if I made a gallery topic... but posted my work as the days progressed... and logged my progress..? Then I could build EXACTLY what the community thought would be cool..."

So now here we are. Awkwardly idling around. Waiting for me to post the pictures.How this will work-
Each day, I will work on the mecha save a little bit more and more. However, I plan to add what the public wants MOST. If the public says add shoulder pads like Samus Aran's, then I will incorporate that. If people say I should add a rocket pod on the right shoulder; I'll do that. If people say I should give it a custom emblem, I will work on it in my Adobe Photoshop class at school and make a custom print for it. (or build it, either works.) If people say I should add a snake-cannon for extra firepower... I probably won't do it. I have seen mechs with up-side-down cannons within the groin area, but if you ask for me to make a cannon in the shape of a rooster... It's not gonna happen. ★IMPORTANT NOTE★ I refuse to fully copy any images of a mecha or any sort of robot completely! This is to be entirely ingenuitive! I also am not restricting ANYONE to the idea that this has to be a humanoid mecha! It's legs can be wheels if people thinks that's cool. You are, in no way, limited to what the mecha should look like.

Drama / Port's Parkour Bounty Hunter: Understaffed

Those that have been to the server know what I'm talking about; you jump around along roof tops, collect better weapons, and you track ONE person. You're whole goal is to kill 50 "targets" to win the game. Using the parkour add-on, the server requires a lot of jumping, climbing and 'leaps of faith', and there are even hidden weapons for those whom have dedicated enough time to the server to search every crack and crevice.

Alright Adin, we get it, server's pretty great, get to the point already.

As much as I love the server, not EVERYBODY instantly understands how to play. You walk so much as five blocks and someone shoots you. Natural instinct? Shoot back. Hypothetically speaking, you take them out. Surprise motherforgeter, you just free-killed! This cycle repeats itself endlessly, irregardless of whether or not you let your free-killing attacker live, or if you just run. Someone will kill you, irregardless. But it gets SO much better than that, people like Lolgonewrong or Peter345 will BEGIN to shoot you, and then stop when your health is JUSST above nothing. If you shoot them back, they shout "FREEKILLING CUNT WTF" or something similar. (Sadly, no evidence of that. If anyone has any images of either of the two, please either post your images or just confirm what I'm saying.)

But that's totally tolerable. They do it a few times, then they learn. Or, if it's a troll, someone will eventually hunt them down. But then, a NEW group of hooligans joined the server; Cunt and Spitfiredude. Cunt first started off by multi-clienting with three clients... Then seven. Then 10. Then 13. Then I left. Now, this ideally shouldn't bother people, but it does. Let's say you're armed to the teeth and ready to go, your score is at 45, and your in the lead by three points. Cunt is your new target. Except there are seven cunts. You have to try and pick the RIGHT cunt, otherwise you die for freekilling. This grew worse when spitfire joined in.

Earlier on in the day, this wasn't a big deal, because there were fewer people, and they were all fairly experienced and mostly small groups of friends. But even then, over the course of the entire day; not a SINGLE admin showed up.
TL;DR
Server lacks administration, server is running amok, players are leaving because of trolls, people are getting frustrated. PORT, DO SOMETHING.

Do I expect all four players to be perma-banned on the spot? No.
Do I expect people to support this drama? No.
Do I hope people will upload THEIR proof of these users? Yeah.
Do I hope people who have been on the server can confirm my credibility? One can hope.
Do I think the server needs more administration, or maybe a new system to remove abusive players? yes.

What's new:
It's official, I'm going to Germany. Except now instead of six months, it's one year. I'll be spending my senior year in Germany, going to a private school for students whose parents are from around the world.

I dunno if I'll be able to drive or not, because I've heard you have to be 21 to drive in germany. Aside from that, any recommendations on where to go ANYWHERE in Europe / picture requests?

Off Topic / Guitar concert today

So it's the 6th week of the 2nd semester, and I'm a part of my school's guitar ensemble, which consists of roughly 20 guitar II students, and 10 guitar III students (which is an honors credit course.)

Today we have our first concert as a class of 30~ students. I'm 14th chair, so I'm not doing anything major or anything sure, and normally I'm fine in these situations, but holy stuff in 3-4 hours from now I'll be in front of almost 100 people, with roughly 35 people on stage (JazZ band will be playing with us in one song)

We'll be playing Norwegian Wood, Battle of Aughrim and a classical song called Playtime. Total time playing on stage should be about 30 minutes, and then after that the JazZ band plays for the remaining 30 minutes, making it an hour long concert.

So I'm taking an Adobe Photoshop class in high school, we're in week 6, and I've got some work done... Just thought I'd share what I've done and put it out there for fun, see what people think.

Hand drawn sketch, scanned in then uploaded to photoshop CS5 for modifications
Pros: Gradient (lods a gradient), Daft punk yespls, first time using custom text, SOMEWHAT accurate to Guy's helm.
Cons: Jagged edges, bad coloring, somewhat grainy


Art School poster created entirely in Adobe Photoshop CS5, no criteria, "see what you can do"
pros: uhh
cons: uhh (kinda bland, tbh, never finished)


Selected picture from google images, selecting certain areas, dropping and increasing saturation, etc
pros: Super hombre!
cons: traces of blue around the edge, my name is ugly


Supplied an image by the teacher, make the picture 'preety' and include 4 versions
(V1 is my modified, clean original, V2 was my final, others are fillers.)
Pros: Well considering the original had acne literally CANVASING HER FACE I did a pretty good job, I USED loving IRONMAN FONT TYPE THIS TIME ('cept you can't see it ;c)
Cons: Tree bark lady has bad texturing.

I keep getting this message on certain servers, with certain loads:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Users|srk|My Documents\Blockland\Blockland.exe


This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unsual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

All of my drives are up to date, my OS is Windows 8, the server works fine for everyone else, and I used to be able to connect just fine. If I need to post a log, I can do that, though for the moment I have no idea what could be wrong.

So I made these a while ago on Prozy's Mini Empires on an off period, while people were preparing stuff before we launched the server. I was going through old saves and I stumbled upon my collection of guns, so I thought I should load em up and share them. The names are kinda random, and I'm not even going to try and bother with stats like ROF, range, weight, etc.

1... How Do I start?

Well, first off, you should probably take a look at some of the submissions here. Just go through a few pages and see what other people have done, then go from there. If you still don't understand, read on:
Place a 16x16 baseplate, aka the smallest sized baseplate in your bricks GUI. On only TWO sides, place [2] 1x12x5 bricks so that their corners meet (They don't have to be that height, that's just for general idea/filler!) Get the height you want with your bricks, then place another 16x16 baseplate on TOP of those walls. This is your "setting." Fill that area with whatever you want. There could be one item in there (tuna jar) or there could me twelve.

special note
Everything does NOT need to be in a 16x16 box. For example, (see "Birthday Wishes") you could have an explosion. This doesn't always mean it fits in a 16x16 space, especially, say, if it's a cake-bomb.

2... General Guide

Comics should be 2-3 slides, general forum rules apply (no trolling, no disturbing comment, block-snakees are automatically cool, etc), general idea is to make a joke about something forum related, whether obvious or a deeper meaning.

Primary goal: HAVE FUN!

If you don't like a comic, that's one thing, go ahead and give recommendations. Think I should edit the title/post? Tell me, I'll consider. But don't cry about how Glass made a comic and people liked it better than yours and he should be banned and... Just don't. Save it for drama. This is just creative release with a more comical side to it. If you don't like someone, or the general idea, then don't JUST cut it down. Give recommendations on ways to make it better.

In regards to buying off of ebay (since gamestop doesn't carry gamecube anymore.) I'm leaning towards Zoids: Battle Legends, but I figured it couldn't hurt to just have a poll and see the forums opinion.

Don't reccomend me games from other systems, I don't have any other systems. All I got is a gamecube, my Wii, my DS, my iPhone (if that even counts) and my PC.

Creator's note: I plan to replace the torso because it's way too thin, and maybe add some more stuff around the waist-guard. Other than that, it's all free game, rate as you see fit. I mostly uploaded this just to show Furdle an example of a mecha on blockland. This won't be finished anytime soon, because it's actually a part of a MUCH larger project, and this is a very very small part of said project. Which is on hold. I've also made a reference to it here;

Bushy if it's any consolation, one of the like 6 projects I'm managing is a space station with some RP elements to it. The stations is massive, with 5 floors, each floor being about 68 bricks tall, 128x long an wide, expanding outward in the middle floor for all of the primary rooms, while offering private and public dorms on the 2nd and 4th floor.

It would mostly be an adventure/hang out server. There's something like 78 planned rooms., ranging from a gym, bar, medical bay, docking station for larger starships, etc.

But it's on hold and current work is geared towards a mini empires server, for various reasons of my own and my admins :L

Suggestions & Requests / Sounds: RPG noises

I'm working on a MERP server and while I've been considering what to add, I suddenly realized my sounds are kinda limited. Though I'm not sure where people would go around getting these sounds, I need some sounds for;A dragon roar
An ogre / troll roar
Goblin gibberish war cry
Human war cry
A battle horn
A sword clash sound effect
A bow/arrow sound effect
Sound of a tree falling while nobody is around to hear it.
If anyone can make any, or all of these sounds packaged and ready to be downloaded, that would be absolutely perfect.

Help / Input event is admin only

So on Randomness's Mini Empires, people for whatever reason can't use the onActivate input. I told Random about it, and he checked his add-ons list. No, he doesn't have Server_RestrictedEvents.zip or any related add-on, but only that admins can use the event, and this is seriously causing a big stir up for the server. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix it, that'd be great.

So Im in the hospital right now with both of my parents. I'm not in a bed or anything, it's just a more precise checkup. I have a condition called cystinuria which causes kidney stones to form in my kidneys (except right now they're half the size of my fist. Also, reference to my previous kidney stone topic)

The doctor just left, and they want me to urinate like 3 liters a day. Most people average at like 1.4. That's like drinking 3 large soda bottles.

Holy stuff. How the hell am I going to drink 3 soda bottles of fluid.
