This is a rant. I typed all of this on my iPhone, and this is a very LARGE OP. If you plan to read, get comfy. Also, forgive and grammar or spelling error, I wasn't in the mood to correct.
So first let me just describe myself in my own terms: 5"9, thin, I spend most of my time on a computer modding for people, having fun, especially on week ends. I have slight acne, and my age on my profile is accurate; 17. I live in a 150k annual income household, so I'm pretty well off. I go to the highest rated public school in my state, if not this side of the country (probably bs fed to me by my parents), I get good grades, roughly all A, a B occasionally, 1 C at worst. I have a younger brother, and he's 2-3 years in he behind me. If my parents need help, I take my time getting to them, just to finish what I'm doing, but I never make them wait more than 5 minutes. I have a medical condition called cystinuria that makes it extremely easy for me to get kidney stones, which are a pain in the ass (or rooster if we're being literal) to deal with. Last year my mom got me a really nice car, and a few months ago my dad helped me to get a debit card as well as do some bank transactions to get me started with my own money. Fast forward 4 months later, and trouble starts:
Jobs:
I want a job. Gaming is fun and all, but I would much rather have money and less time to game, because then it has more value. I've applied all over, but I don't wanna work in any sort of food establishment. I feel bad for every single waiter I've ever seen. They are under constant pressure, and the fear of tripping with food, bumping into something, etc freaks me out. That should be fine, because there are literally 5 shopping centers within walking distance of my house. So I'm job hunting right? And my mom is always on my back "do you have a job yet? When will you? Where did you apply?" and if I'm not working right then and there, she will hand my car keys to me and tell me to go drive around and apply, in person. This has come in handy one time thus far, and I doubt I'll even get hired.
My brother:
dear loving god kill it please. Some of you may know him in-game; Manokal. BL_ID 10833, aka 1 ID above my own, because it would be unfair if I had anything he didn't. My brother has a very minute autism, but his laziness makes it seem mild at best. I cannot begin to describe the stupidity that I endure with him, so I'll give examples that come to mind;
- Saturday we went to a performance, Shen Yun, it was intended to be a fun family night out with our grandma. My dad was gone, and my mom was trying to buy me a soda from a nearby kiosk. Before she left, she said to me "you need to drink something, kidney boy." after she was out of earshot, richardey McGee comes over, gets within an inch of my face, starts poking my chest as hard as he can (which isn't really anything at all, I'm sturdy and he's just... weak. Like, paper vs mountain weak.) and he starts to say "YEAH KIDNEY BOY, DRINK MORE, YEAH YEAH KIDNEY BOY."
At this point, he's made a scene out in the middle of a large pathway, and he knows I don't like him being in my personal space. At all. So before I even bother to tell him to stop, I twist his arm around mid-poke, lock him up and I've got his arm behind his back. Mom is still busy getting a drink, and he's dead silent. My grandma is trying to break us apart because she pitied him no matter what he does to me, so I deliver a quick message; "touch me again, you lose an arm."
Hollow threat, but he of course cries to mommy, and she just puts it off as him being a cry baby.
- Everyday we're in the same room, a foot away from each other, and everyone ANYTHING happens on his screen, he laughs as loud as he can, as I'd it's the funniest damn thing anyone has ever seen, I turn around and he's bouncing up and down and on the screen is the TF2 heavy literally just walking. Honestly, it wasn't funny in the slightest bit. And this is one of millions of incidents throughout an entire day.
- because he can't read or write worth stuff, he decided to google all of the TF2 sayings/quotes and write them down. Whenever he wants to communicate, he uses that list. This would be fine normally, however; A. He stalks me. On every damn server.
B. he spams it non-stop until someone tells him to stop. Just imagine MAGGOTSMAGGOTSMAGOTSMAGRAMAGU TSMAOTGSMAURGSLKLLOLOL
C. Half of what he has on there has "forget" in it somewhere. More on why that pisses me off later*
The computer room*;
I use a wired connection with Internet, because I'm not allowed to have my computer in my own bedroom, or our playroom upstairs. This would be fine and all, but it not even for me; it's so someone watches over boogerbrains behind me. Except I'm trying and I'm TOLD to ignore him. So when he connects to kong's death race and starts spamming "loving MAGGOTS" I'm about to lose it. I'm having my fun, he's making an idiot of himself, and I'm supposed to ignore it, and just tell my parents he has this list full of insults and foul language that I practically use as descriptive language. But see, that's not all. Once upon a time, I had an amazing girlfriend who loved to Skype, and I didn't mind. But my idiot of a brother ALWAYS had something to do or say.
Did I mention he's always in his underwear? He could care less if the entire wall was gone, he would still sit there in his underwear. He doesn't even sit, he planks on his chair.
My computer vs his computer;
For Christmas, he got all new gaming equipment, like an entire remake, and they literally spend hundreds of dollars on game for him per month. Me? My monitor won't even loving turn on! It takes 15 minutes to turn on. And he abuses it ALL: he sneezes on everything, he smashes his mouse when he's mad, he kicks his monitor, he wastes space on his drives, etc.
Now we get into my parents, mostly my mom;
Dad;
He was a Boyscout, so I should be a Boyscout. And I should get eagle since he didn't. Fair enough. But if I dont go camping ONCE, he cries about it endlessly and says "at this rate you won't get eagle, your slacking, your friends asked about you, etc"
Are you loving kidding me? I texted ALL of my Frieda from scouts, none of them could give less of a stuff, their minds are all on guns, 'muricuh, tits and weed. And now he wants to go on a high adventure trip to the snowy north, and I have NO intention of going because I HATE the cold. He's still loving crying about it, and now he's trying to get other adult leaders to talk me into it.
My mom;
Dear forget. She takes bipolar to a whole new level. I love my mom, but if I could just slap her once, I would make it count. Let's start a christmas time; new girlfriend, and we're going shopping together. Before I go, my mom tells me to get my little brother a present. I ask her "All I have is birthday money, and you said that was for gas?" her retort? "well now it's for your brother."
So I buy him some nice gaming headphones that e doesn't even loving use. Thanks buddy. There goes my great birthday present. So I'm broke right? But I can't be broke, I saved up like $90 from the summer... Nope, cause see, my mom said she would pay for a Spanish tutor, but he never had cash on her, so I would go upstairs and grab a $20 from my stash. Until I was broke. But wait it gets better. So we're dog sitting, and my mom offers me half the pay if I walk the dogs all weekend. Easy, so I do it, $40. This lasts me literally a day. She needs to "borrow" money, so I let her, but then when I wanna go out with friends, she says "I don't owe you any money, you have your own."
At this point I'm ripping my hairs out as I'm telling my friends I can't go anymore cause I can't chip in my share of the cost for what we were gonna do.
So time goes by, and my moms car is falling apart. So she starts driving my car. She gets home one day, and complains that I haven't been filling it with gas, and that whenever I drive I conveniently for myself, leave it empty; I don't have any money to fill it with, and I never let the tank fall below half full. It gets 26 MPG minimum.
Last part. So I let a girl I like(d) drive my car, cause she didn't like my driving (I you want the link to the thread I'll like you.) Long story short, she put a 2" sent into one of my rims. So I had to get a $300 replacement, factory made or w/e it's called when it's the original you buy the car with. Since then, the rim has been sitting in the garage. Tonight, my dad walks up to me mid-snack, and tells me "why don't we swap vehicles tomorrow. I'll take your car to work and you can take my truck to the dump and trade in that rim."
Being the logical person I am, I ask "but dad, isn't the dump in the general direction of your work?" He responds "Yes, it is, but I have to go to work, and I'm not going to go out of my way for a measly $20."
At this point, I'm a little upset. He would get 3 minutes out of his way. So I sort of say to myself "Not like I'll get to keep the $20 anyways..." My mother of course after hearing that, pipes up "Why should you get to keep it?" now I'm pissed off. You gave me a debit card with my own money to be self sufficient, and I would be, but you're loving robbing me. So I respond as I get up, not even bothering to put my dishes away "You're right, and I don't need my debit card or my wallet since I probably can't keep those either." as I walk upstairs to my room, she calls up "You're just a spoiled brat."
That's all forums. Just had to get that out. Lately it kinda seems like the world is all against me in one way or another, and then everyone expects the best of me. I don't really know what I expect in response to this. Pity I guess, maybe advice, maybe just someone to listen.
