Is it possible for a decal / face / print to be a gif? for instance, could my avatar become a face?
To my understanding it couldn't, namely because of that fact that all of the decals / faces are .PNGs...

Food for thought, I think it'd be kinda cool if that COULD work. Or it would just be abusive, that works too.

Off Topic / Keeping up with the apocalypse: it ain't over

It's an "all-day" event guys. Don't get your hopes up so soon.
My theory; N korea's missile fires an earth-shattering nuke right on top of USA and it almost instantaneously fries all of America. This would leave the entire western himi-sphere alone. Aka China/ N Korea/ Russia and all communist satellites.
Now if this WAS the case, why wouldn't an Iron Dome defend us? In terms of an ICBM originating from possibly the exosphere, would be moving pretty damn fast, speaking strictly scientifically. But if they got this far, there would have had to be at LEAST a second stage to the rocket/missile.

It's a flawed idea but hey, anythings possiblePost if your dead or alive, I'm dead, sorry guys.

Help / Squideey's Brick Textures

Anyone got a copy? His DL got taken down (or atleast from what I've seen here on the forums)
I currently have manty's, but they're a bit too dark for my taste. If nobody has his textures, I may try my hand at my own custom textures (lol completely smooth, no shadow, here we go.)

and I've set them as read only in properties.

My mom wants to buy my little brother a video game for christmas and as majority of mothers her age, she has no comprehension towards what the difference between Battlefield 3 and Barbie Dress Up 2 is.

He likes;
Blockland
Minecraft
Terraria
Supreme commander (and the second installation)
Red alert

Game must match this criteria:
Rated teen or below
Relevant to the other titles
Not too complicated (he has mild autism)
Be on one of the following platforms: PC, Wii/GameCube, DS (he mostly sticks to PC..)

If you also have any good sites that can help search for things like this, that's just as appreciated.

So today I was working on Psp's server (finally got SA and I'm set as co-host) an news was slowly spreading around amongst my irc communications (I have constant communication between 9 - 15 people throughout the time that I'm online, just to keep tabs on servers, projects, or just interpersonal matters)

No names, but two admins came to me while I was working and told me about Pload from /Ty's City RPG and his money fiasco. I said "what happens on a server, should stay in that server. If it happens here then I'll ban him accordingly."
I take that back. I recently saw the Pload crew dramas / band and such, and they appear to be a threat to the integrity of the server, as well as my own.
If anyone could share with me the "Pload crew's" collective BL_IDs, that'd be great. I also heard rumor that they told one or two people how they did it, if they could supply those names / IDs too that'd be greatly appreciated (they will be given an opportunity to prove they are of no threat, but I'd like to take them aside and make them aware of my concerns.)

Or if nobody knows just talk about how much you hate trolls and exploiters, that's kinda on topic.
I guess..?

So for those of you who may or may not have heard, with the recent death of 28 in Connecticut, the West Baptist Church has decided to picket the funerals (same church that believes soldiers and gays are evil). The group Anonymous has launched a cyber attack against WBC and posted a video explaining their cause (http://vimeo.com/m/55671721)though I'm not sure of the time, yesterday the WBC domain was gone, user the act of anon, but now it is back... Whatever anon plans, I honestly hope they do well. WBC makes me sick. @anonymous

Hi forums 
Most of you know me, if not then eh, your loss. Those that do know me probably know I'm Psp's co-host for his City RPG and a big player in the mini empire scene (when I can)

Recently my life has sort of been in a turn around and I'm sort of thinking about a lot of different things; I have a new girlfriend, I've taken up numerous new hobbies, I'm much more active, my diet is improving, my acne is clearing up, etc etc. But even then, I still find myself at home often (17 and nowhere to go, oh well), and I'm frequently on blockland working on SOMETHING, most of the time for someone else.

During a quiet walk I thought over all of the things I do and enjoy, ranging from sports to art, so on and so forth, and it kinda just occurred to me; I had so many plans for modeling, but I just never... Well, started.

MODELING!

I would like to take up modeling, maybe even with time work with others for mods, or just show off stuff in the gallery. I really just want something semi-productive to do (an actual skill of sorts), and this kinda just seems like something I can relate to. But of course, starting something new is never easy, but lucky lucky me, I have an entire community at my disposal, some of which who do model.

QUESTIONS!

1.) what kind of applications do you guys use?
2.) what would you reccomend for a beginner modeler?
3.) what's a good way to practice modeling?
4.) given that I stick with it and become good, IF I do, are there BETTER modeling applications?
5.) are there certain techniques or tips you might have for a beginner?
6.) is it possible to make a whole model (for instance, replicate a blockhead), then add a second model to it? (armor, weapons, etc)
7.) is it possible for a model to move? (I'm assuming it is because of the reload animations on some gun add-ons)
8.) anything extra you think is helpful

I've always wondered what peoples opinions were of me (it differs between people of course, but as a whole I've wondered the general consensus of coolbro/starfish)

Pretty simple, just give you opinion on whoever is above you, provide stories, facts, reasons, proof, w/e.Since the only person 'above' me is the hypothetical 'God':
dude wtf, get better admin skills pls, people are teamkilling, robbing me and calling it "taxes", my physics are all messed up and some guy is walking around with a naked avatar. Your server sucks.

Off Topic / Foreign language help? - Spanish II

So I'm 3 weeks from the end of the semester and Spanish... Is well, troubling. Right now were working on preterites and imperfects, and I get the concept but how each one works and where ser, ir, ver and the like go is just way over my head.
Does anyone have any good tips or websites for Spanish related stuff? (I have a tutor, and I cannot shell out any amount of money for any new service. The tutor helps, but I can only see her once a week.)

If I can simply pass Spanish, I don't have to take another foreign language class until college... Though an A is the goal here of course. If there is any added detail I can provide that would help, then I can provide whatever info needed.

I'm in the lobby, got here early, 3 classes have been invited along with any friends... So far not a lot of people, but it starts in like half an hour. I also have a crush on one girl from my class

Hook, line, n' sinked her.
In all seriousness we hung out at a local park today for like 6 hours, I brought my golden retriever and we walked around the laker there, sat down, walked again etc, and at one point I asked her out. We actually question each other back and forth for fun and I worked it into that, super long pause to build emphasis and what-not. At the time I had my arm around her and she was leaning against me, so I figured my odds were pretty good.

I really like her cause she's really honest, smart, pretty, and she appreciates peace and quiet (reads and hikes a lot). It's also pretty promising cause since she likes hiking and more sporty type stuff, I've brought up whether or not she wants to join crew ( boy scouts / girl scouts, but we do cooler stuff like fully automatic weapons, 14 mile hikes, beach camping, dogsledding, etc.) and she actually seems really interested.

If we hang out sometime soon I'll update this with a pic of us.

All said and done, what about you guys? Crushes? Current girl/boyfriends? Crazy psycho ex bitches?
