Nothing about any server on this game is commendable, what are you getting on about now
Nothing that has ever happened on Blockland has bettered humanity, nor any of ourselves for that matter

it's ONE server Taboo jesus christ

I'd like to see somebody host ~7 servers on a $20/mo windows server

Okay, so let me put into perspective the sort of rig it would require to run the most difficult Blockland server. My friend's 5960X had only hit 11% on Blockland with a non-dedi server. Once it topped off at 11% it simply froze, this is presumably because it was using only a single core: in which case would mean the most efficient way to run Blockland on a server would be to run an instance of it for each free core. Another important thing to note is that in order to reach the 11% usage freeze he had to dupe 1.5k+ bricks, and I think we can all agree that duping is the most stressful thing you can do on a server. To put this in perspective you can get an $200 processor with 8 cores from AMD that scores only 37.5% less than his processor. He also couldn't get BL to use more than 2.5 gigabytes of RAM, and thus we can assume you'd need at most 4 + (2.5*Server count) gigs of RAM. We can thus assume that he wouldn't necessarily need a high end nor expensive VPS in order to run Blockland servers alone.

again: he's either not using all of his VPS, he's lying, or he uses his VPS for other stuff outside of Blockland

guys this thread exploded ;(
Because you picked a hot button topic, and you made it a discussion on drama, literally BLF's toilet

Tezuni pays around $500 a year for his VPS.
that money
I'm sure he's rolling in dough and laughing at all of the little kiddies he's robbed, that evil man. I bet he worships the devil and steals stop signs!

Yes. This is the internet, not real life. If you actually think that the way people debate online and the way they behave with friends are related, you need to go outside.
Taboo, bro, you needa chill, have a drink

If you can act civilized out in the "real world," yet not in the "digital world," you might have multiple personality disorder. Though I guess if you get some kind of power high from insulting people from beyond a computer screen, that's cool too. Personally I am the same person both on a computer and around my friends, I see no reason to fake anything. I'm sure you'll have something witty and equally condescending to say about that too though.

On another note, a friend of mine did a stress test on Blockland.
He duped as many bricks as he could to use up as much as his CPU as possible in one test. At 2,500 bricks, he used up 11% of his CPU, and then Blockland froze.
On a second test, he played as much music as the game would allow for, and that only used up 2.5 gigs of RAM.
His CPU is a 5960X that's been overclocked to 4.3GHz

So presumably Tezuni either doesn't fully utilize his VPS, or he uses it for other purposes outside of Blockland.

In it for the money, not for the game.
What money

Does anyone have a band-aid? I cut myself on all the edge

Hey did anyone hear about the parade? I heard they were gonna have a band on a wagon

These things have nothing to do with each other
You getting upset over a video game and how you act in a social setting have no correlation to the kind of person you are? Hmm, could've fooled me. I guess you must be a really kind, upstanding-citizen outside of a lego forum full of teenagers!
Nobody's "fired up," by the way. Tezuni, maybe, from how immature he behaved before bailing, but that seems to be normal for him so maybe not.
Said the self-vindicated stuff-flinger
The thread is for discussion on a topic, and I'm discussing the topic. Your question is as stupid as it is hypocritical, my discussing the topic has nothing to do with you, so why do you care?
I rather enjoy playing on Tezuni's server. I've never been banned, never been muted, I always get a laugh out of the game, and it's simple. Doesn't require too much attention. So I care about the server. You're 'discussing' the topic with the intent of belittling others and attacking a server you will never play on. I care because you're attacking something I enjoy, not that it will really change anything.

I don't see why any of you really care. If you like the server, cool, go play on it. If you don't like the server, cool, ignore it. Added bonus: the people that like that server, stay on that server, so you don't have to deal with them.

You are paying too much for low quality hardware.
I'm not sure why Tezuni's expenditures are any issue of yours Taboo, it's not like any of this really effects you. If a 10 year-old "donating" (paying/losing/giving/whatever you like sugar plum) $5 to his favorite server and getting a snazzy little light trail and easy access to a pistol really gets you that fired up, I can only imagine what fun you are at parties.

If you don't mind my asking, why exactly DO you care so much about a server you will never go on?

tl;dr, THEY'RE ALL stuffHEADS
One former administrator to another, you and I had very different experiences. Tenshi and I got along great (past tense anyways), every ban I witnissed and was a part of was fair or deserved.

The Sarti at this point are extremely weak and poor (they were refugees living in Faeborn territory until the Kazezi abandoned the desert) and have essentially been enslaved by the Darkins. Older Sarti will remember a time before the Darkins, but the younger ones only know their slavery - yet think that the tribe is actually engaged in a mutualistic partnership with them. As time goes on, the Sarti become increasingly ruthless and vicious under the Darkin influence until they are practically Darkins themselves.

I don't know what the deal with Biller is but I'm reconsidering how familiar I am with him. For now I'll revoke his admin privileges and grant GMO privileges given that he's been very active in the server for a long time and hasn't been causing any problems.
Sarti already have a pretty young alliance with Eristia, Once the Malka have become more situated I'd like to speak to their leader as well. Refugees or not, there are only 2 other members I know of and outside of that, the three of us are fairly kind in our player interactions.

It'd be cool to see an addition to gameplay where the more you kill or appeal to your god, the more power you get (with Sarti you become more of a Darkin, Munna grow in size like titans (not full size!!), Mediir could summon larger undead armies, etc)

Why don't we get Biller's side of the story before we blame him/de-admin him, in all fairness to EVERYONE

ninja edit-
Wait, dont remove Biller`s admin privileges, but GMO is a good man and he can become a nice admin.
GMO has done nothing to warrant being admin, and honestly I rarely see him on.

Aight so to the Sarti bit- you do realize that Amade is making a jab at me, right? We messed around on the server a while ago, and I was the first Sarti. Whether or not he's serious when he calls me an starfish is up for debate, but by no means is Amade a credible source on that. Especially not when the Faeborn have griefed three bases compared to Sarti's 0, along with 0 wars, and one ongoing peace treaty.
I didn't mean that everyone in Sarti is that, but a lot of Sarti are. You don't seem like one of them. Sarti, from lore, are basically assassins that enjoy killing others, wreaking havoc and destroying whatever is in their path.
There are three Sarti, and the only Sarti that has stepped out of line in the past two days is Spartan, which I spoke with him about and made a peace offering with Biller. Sarti, from Lore-
Sarti: The inhabitants of the deserts. They worship the shadowy darkin, a race of malicious shapeshifters. The Sarti offer tribute to their overlords by wreaking death and destruction upon enemy tribes. In exchange, the darkin have taught the Sarti how to use daggers with increased effectiveness and even the secrets of nigh-invisibility.

By the lore, we kill because it is the commanding of our deities, and in return they show us the way of shadows. Now that being said, under my command the Sarti tribe will only destroy bricks to access a base interior for war, but griefing is way beyond what I would allow. Sure, our tribe's entire purpose is stealth, assassination and war, but that doesn't mean I'm going to declare war on every tribe. If anything I'm forming some alliances, and prepping the tribe for full on war with others.

In regards to Biller-
My totem, which could not be removed unless you had my trust, was removed (I get I can't do that anymore, but nonetheless, it means someone had to have my trust to remove it)
rule breaking and irony aside, Biller obviously is not the only person who has your trust.
the things Biller said were mighty shady and reference a huge amount to destroying the islands.
I guess the pen truly is mightier than the sword

Stop and pause: what would Biller have to gain from destroying your islands? If he was going to grief the islands (which, as an admin and in those circumstances, would be against the rules since there would be no strategic reason for it) then why didn't he just go ahead and do it when he was on the island? Biller has yet to grief any base, let alone does he ever do anything other than build.
