LIST OF GIFT/DATE IDEAS
Indented wooden heart- use any log or branch (preferably cedar wood, with a diameter no more than 7". Cut yourself a 1-4" thick cylinder (aka 2 cuts). Use any circular cup to mark where you'll indent, then in the middle try and free-hand a heart. Cut out the circle, leave the heart. I used a drill press with different drill bits designed for carving out stuff, and then sanded it, but you can use w/e you like
origami rose- literally just google origami rose, watch a video and follow the instructions. Flowers are cute, but they die. Paper flowers last forever provided they aren't wet.
BONUS POINTS use red/white double sided paper to fold, this will give you a red rose, which represents love, loveual desire and lust (you loving horny 10 year olds)
Food- Anything. Literally anything. It can be as complicated as a seven layered cake, to a little bit of watermelon carved into hearts (forgive the cheese, I had to(nobody will get that joke.)) Cooking is a great way to show you care about someone, and it doesn't have to be done alone: you can cook WITH them and make it 3x more fun and effective. Every guy who has dated ANY girl should know that generally, hugs from behind or just standing behind your S/O while working works wonders (note: yet to become world famous)
RED ALERT CAUTION Check for food allergies! Don't bake your woman a cake if she's allergic to literally ALL the ingredients! Think things through logically, "is _____ allergic to ____?" should be a major deciding factor.
A jewelry box- This one's kinda aimed for guys to make for girls, however some guys rely on their bling as well (gotta remember to wear my gold chain ery'day.) Personally, I found some cheap scrap wood at Home Depot (Fence post wood, about 6" x 6" and about 4ft tall) and I made myself a 6"x 6"x 6" block. I then made an outline of a heart along the top, cut said heart out with a table saw with a guide-attachment for precise cuts, cut it in half, hollowed it about 2" on the base, 1" on the top, sanded it down to give it smooth edges, applied finish and added a velvet interior.
BONUS POINTS grace her new jewelry box with some jewelry. Can be cheaper than usual, I spent $30 on a silver ring with a quartz crystal, but the 1-week of labor working on the jewelry box by far made up for it. To this day my ex still only uses that jewelry box, and she refuses to use anything else.
Teddy bear- literally the easiest gift possible, you can find teddy bears everywhere, ESPECIALLY around valentine's day. Size is important in this case (don't listen to anything she says, size matters, don't kid yourself.) as anything larger than her will just crowd her bed and be impossible to bring around with her, whereas an extremely small teddy bear is likely to just sit in her room. The ideal teddy bear is about half your overall size: big enough that she can wrap her arms around it, small enough to be carried.
BONUS POINTS carry it around for a while or just sleep with it. You won't realize it, but it'll start to smell like you, and this drives women crazy
SUPER BONUS POINTS Got an old, soft hoodie that she likes and you'd be willing to give up? Let the bear wear it. Not only will it smell like you, it'll have some visual aid to help her think of you, which means she'll think of you more often, and may even help whenever she's upset.
Date: Just chill out in a hammock This honestly requires little to no work, provided you've got a hammock. Personally, I go camping once a month, therefor I own a hammock. Speaking from personal experience, my girlfriend and I hang out in my hammock during lunch at our high school (55 minutes, we get a lot of funny looks) and one day every week, often times at a local park near a lake. We take a nap, play guitar, draw, write poetry, talk, and just generally have a good time.

Date: Picnic- Pack the watermelon, KFC and grape soda, because you're goin' on a picnic! How you go about your picnic-planning really does depend on the season: winter time, you're gonna want to dress warmer, bring warm food and drink, and generally be closer together with an easy-to-clean-up-at-home meal. During the summer, anything goes: salad, steak, fruit salad, watermelon, the souls of kittens, etc.
Impress your girlfriend 101- grow a pair and pick the book up. If you like reading books, this honestly shouldn't be too challenging as it's only roughly 500 pages. Yes, the book is an erotica book, YES you can't read it in MOST public situations, YES it gets really loving weird at parts: It's completely worth it. Though do make sure you're S/O isn't a stick-in-the-mud who will think you're a freak for reading the books, otherwise it defeats the purpose.
