As far as the actual hair, I think it looks too slanted and gelled. Make it sit a bit more naturally, not forced.

Why on earth would you cut a lizards tail, and your excuse is that it wasn't yours. Okay, no problem, I could come to your house and kill your pets, and I could just get away with: "It wasn't mine."

Better yet...

     Mutt stared at the mutilated pile of bodies, a very youthful boy about the age of 3, 2 women who appeared to be in there 20s, and a dog.  He had killed them, simply for laughs...and necrophilia.  But, that's not the focus here.
The focus is when 2 officers walk up to him ",Sir, why are you smiling and laughing at..."the officer didn't finish the sentence, he simply stuttered and took out a pair of handcuffs.

    Four days later in court the man's only defence was ",They weren't mine."  He was convicted of homicide.
