Off Topic / Kunits Lag
« on: January 27, 2009, 11:43:35 AM »
Well, I bought a new PC. This PC has better specs then my previous one and yet it lags to hell compared to my old PC, Only on the following games.

Note:My specs are far over what is demanded.

My Specs:
Video:
NVIDIA  GeForce 8500 GT
Ram:
Kingston 2.5GB Worth
Processor:
3.11Ghz 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+

List:
SWG
EQ2
GMod
TF2
L4D
Portal

Extra Info:
The game is perfect right off the bat and about twenty-thirty seconds later it starts laggin, then perfect for about 10, and loops like this.
The game(s) are all on low detail, I have tried on High details as well.(The low and High both do the same thing.

Modification Help / setshapenames
« on: January 24, 2009, 12:55:13 AM »
Well, It appears in the name to just say "Kunit [Is ]" on re-spawn, yet it is fine when you first create the tribe name.

Code: [Select]
package SurRPz
{
function GameConnection::SpawnPlayer(%this)
{
     Parent::SpawnPlayer(%this);
     %this.player.setShapeName(%this.name @ "[Is " @ %Tribename @ " ]");
}
};
activatePackage("SurRPz");

Code: [Select]
function serverCmdCreateTribe(%client, %TribeName)
{
%client.clanprefix = %Tribename;
%client.player.setshapename(%client.name SPC "[Is " @ %TribeName @ "]");
}

Gallery / national socialist Horse

The Speech:
My District Leader, My Dear Danzigers:

Not only you experience this moment with deepest emotion; nay, the entire German nation experiences it with you, and I, too, am aware of the greatness of the hour when I, for the first time, tread on the soil which German settlers occupied five centuries ago and which for five centuries was German, and which - thereof you may rest assured - will remain German. ...

And so it begun...The national socialist horses marched through europe.

Modification Help / Gui help
« on: December 23, 2008, 02:18:26 PM »
Ok so I recently started on my Medieval mods GUI since everyone was complaining about all the chat commands.

Anyway I just need to know a couple things about a GUI.

1.How do I display a clients variable while in a GUI such as a box that says
Code: [Select]
"Copper Ore: %client.quantity["CopperOre"]".
2.Changing a font in a gui.

How would I have a projectile detect a .dts/collision rather then a brick.
This detects the brick "Test", What would detect a .dts called "Test"?
Code: [Select]
function ToolProjectile::oncollision(%this,%obj,%col,%fade,%pos,%normal)
{
if(!isobject(%col)){return;}
if(%col.getDatablock() $= nametoid("brickTestData"))

« on: December 06, 2008, 10:37:18 AM »
If I was to create a projectile that would fake kill a brick via %brick.fakekillBrick or whatever the code is. How would I set the respawn time for the brick or is that the B respawn in the minigame window, Basically do they carry the same variables.
