i clean mine bimonthly and they're usually worse than that, prolly because of my cats

sometimes i take my pc into my garage and blast the innards with high-pressure air from a tank

I was planning on doing it every trimester but I forgot about it for like half a year.
Needed to clean my room anyways so why not
