Not really
It had ware in it so I assumed its some sort of virus

Edit: its pretty much a virus and if it isnt the devs who made the software are idiots and deserve to get their legs broken

Malware and bloatware.

Did a virus scan today and no threats.

get out the liquid nitrogen and overclock to next week

Ill try to overclock to 42 Ghz using this method.

I think you should just do a system restore. If that doesnt work then you might as well just scrap the piece of trash and start saving for a new one

I p much have all the importand files online or somewhere on my external HDD because they where importand (research) and took up too much space (research)
forget it why not. Ill just play pokemon on my phone when its restoring because it takes stupidly long for some reason

previously on "my laptop is getting slow"
So I tried to boot up CSGO and stuff I got 5FPS when lucky, looking at my video settings CSGO did some auto setting stuff and put my AA on the maximum for some reason. Putting my settings to something reasonably this laptop can handly, I barely reached 30FPS.
I put in the lowest possible stuff settings and I still didnt get 30.

I ran a virus scan, cleaned registry, uninstalled some stuff and I finally got a good FPS of something arround 100 on low, untill I started moving and some enemies popped up my FPS fell harder than my crippling low self esteem from when I realised I probably will never be successful in life.

So yeah, What do?
stuff I cant even run pokemon platinum on an NDS emulator without it being laggy af

My last resort is going to be a system restore but I seriously do not want to do that, at all

EDIT: Information I forgot
CPU idle temp: 45°C
CPU temp when CSGO: ~50°C
CPU: I5-4210M (Quad at 2.6Ghz)
GPU: Nvidya GT825M
RAM: 8Gb's Where 1 stick is different then the other, im not sure if it makes any difference.

Reinstall the operating system to start fresh again. That can make a big difference.

Other than that, try seeing if you can clean dust out of it with a can of compressed air (don't use a hair dryer or vacuum cleaner, just compressed air). If I had a better connection right now I'd try to link you "clean the fan" from youtube.

I've cleaned my fan quite recently and it wasnt that bad really
I also swapped a ram stick I had lying arround so I had 8Gb's instead of 6 because I mainly use this for editing stuff.

I dont really want to wipe the whole hard drive too. I dont feel like going the process to back my stuff up ,remove everything and possibly forget something really importand wich I usually do.
My hard drive defrags weekly tho

I have 706Gb free space out of 869Gb. Thats about 160Gb's of space that im using.
I doubt its the hard drive

Windows firewall is stupid, and it scans itself, taking up all that cpu, so get a different anti malware and disable firewall.

Yeah windows firewall is absolute garbage but when I try to disable it it gives me acces denied bs
And honestly I couldnt care less.

Anyways I scanned my system with malwarebytes and it found 3 theats. It still does feels slow tough

If its windows 10, disable msmpeng.exe, it takes up stuff loads of CPU.

What are you trying ya punk?

I've heard good things about Malwarebytes, but you should listen to someone else. I don't know off the top of my head which antivirus programs are good and which just slow your computer further.

there is literqlly nothing installed besides my adobe software, some other software I use allot
And the amount of games on this PC are countable on one hand.

Run a scan with your friendly neighborhood antivirus software, clear cookies from your browser, and stop going to those sketchy research sites.

I dont have an anti virus because the one I use is my common sense. And suprisingly enough I have never gotten a virus even with my small amount of common sense.
But sure, recommend me some free ones.

On purchase this machine was amazing and probably the fastest PC I had for now. Now that I have another, faster PC I dont use this very often anymore. Only when I go to my father or if I'm out of the house.
So after a while I booted it up and jesus, its so slow. Going full screen alone lags my computer for a second or two. It used to run very smoothly, no trouble at all.
So yeah, what do.
