"Gotta go fast!"

Summary
______________________________________________

Sonic the Hedgehog (ソニック・ザ・ヘッジホッグ Sonikku za Hejjihoggu) is a video game franchise created by Yuji Naka, and is developed and owned by Sega. The franchise centers on a series of speed-based platform games, but several are spin-offs in different genres. The protagonist of the series is an anthropomorphic blue hedgehog named Sonic the Hedgehog, whose peaceful life is often interrupted by the series's main antagonist, Doctor Eggman. Sonic usually must stop Eggman and foil any plans of world domination. The first game in the series, published in 1991, was conceived by Sega's Sonic Team division after Sega requested a mascot character; the title was a success and spawned sequels, and transformed Sega into a leading video game company during the 16-bit era in the early to mid-1990s.

Sonic Team has since developed many titles in the franchise. Prominent members of its initial staff included Naka, designer Naoto Ohshima and game planner Hirokazu Yasuhara. Other developers of Sonic games have included the American Sega Technical Institute, Japanese Dimps, American Backbone Entertainment, Canadian BioWare, British Sumo Digital and British Traveller's Tales. While the first games in the series were platform games, the series has expanded into other genres such as action-adventure, fighting, racing, role-playing, and sports.

Off Topic / Is this a good microphone for its price?
« on: December 30, 2014, 12:54:18 PM »
Samson Portable Mic

I've been looking for a reasonably cheep microphone that is better than my current one which is a stick microphone (similar to this) from the 1990s. I wanted to know if this is a good microphone, I've seen/watched reviews on youtube that say its good for a portable microphone. If this isn't necessarily good for example, a Skype call, then could any of you guys recomend a reasonably priced ok or good quality microphone? (Budget is $100 at the most) Thanks.

Edit: I've also been looking at the Blue Snowball which seems like a better bet.

Creativity / Niff's School Time Doodles | -locking-
« on: December 04, 2014, 09:32:48 PM »
Hello BLF, this topic is dedicated to the doodles I make in school, I've been drawing for a few years, and I feel like I should make a topic for reference when I look back at my drawings.

anyway, here's the first picture I guess

I've actually not been able to draw like this in a while (it makes me cri ;-;) but I think this is a really good piece.

I don't have any current examples for my drawings are in my locker (I was inspired by other fourmers such as Halinic and Boost to finally create my own thread.)

I'm sure there are some differences between this and what I draw now, I don't draw hands that are really round, my lines are less jagged and I tend to not have the "skeleton" in the final product.

(criticism is appreciated)

Games / Fantasy Life - What Life Do You Live?
« on: November 07, 2014, 09:38:42 PM »

Fantasy Life (ファンタジーライフ Fantajī Raifu?) is a role-playing video game developed by Level-5, with assistance from 1-UP Studio and h.a.n.d., for the Nintendo 3DS. (Credit to Wikipedia)

There Are 12 "Life Classes" in Fantasy Life

- Alchemist -
The Alchemist uses flasks to make medicine, bombs, flasks and accessories.

- Angler -
The Angler uses fishing rods to catch fish around the world.

- Blacksmith -
The Blacksmith uses hammers to craft weapons, armors and tools.

- Carpenter -
The carpenter uses saws to make weapons, tools and furniture.

- Cook -
The Cook crafting station consists of three parts, Stirring, Chopping and Frying. This process can be made automatic with enough crafting experience.

- Hunter -
The Hunter uses the bow and arrow to inflict damage and status effects (poison, sleep and paralysis) on enemies from a safe distance.

- Magician -
A Magician can be used to support other classes in multiplayer due to their ability to heal not only themselves but their group members in a certain range.

- Mercenary -
The Mercenary uses two-handed swords to inflict great damage to enemies.

- Miner -
The Miner uses pickaxes to mine gems and metals from mining nodes across the world.

- Paladin -
Skilling them on strength and vitality seems to be the best strategy. Paladins have a lot of defensive power, but sometimes lacks attack strength. They cannot use broad swords unless they were mercenaries before. In multiplayer or groups, the paladin is best used to protect their group with their shield. They are weak to magic, but strong against physical attacks and could be called the tanks of the Fantasy Life universe.

- Tailor -
The Tailor crafting station consists of three parts, Cutting, Sewing and Threading. This process can be made automatic with enough crafting experience.

- Woodcutter -
The Woodcutter uses axes to cut logs from trees around the world.

I just got this game and its pretty fun, way too much text though, I heard online multiplayer is better than singleplayer/solo mode
