Made a thread like this some time ago, figured its time for another!
For me, I'm excited at the possibility of a paid internship at an architecture firm this summer. My dad also has a new (to us, anyway) bike that he's going to be getting ready for me soon.

Modification Help / Georges Vehicles: New Car! Mini Cooper!

I know it's been quite some time, but here's a new car I'm working on! My old topic is too old to post in, unfortunately. I guess I don't make cars often enough. :P
Anyway, here is my new Mini Cooper I'm making the S variant, but I could potentially make the non S variant at some point if someone really wants an inferior looking car for some reason.

- Things Left To Finish
- Interior
- Steering and tail light animations
The interior is by the far the biggest thing left to do. One benefit of me making this car is my aunt owns one and I have actually ridden in it multiple times, so I kinda can get a sense for whether or not the interior is right.
Sizes are currently temporariy, I just made it that big so it fits with my Bengs C300 wheels.
As you can see, there's still lots to be done, but considering I just started yesterday (I think...), I think I'm making some pretty good progress!

Google's creating their own cell service now that runs off of existing networks. What makes it different is that it uses whatever connection is strongest at your current location. At one point, it might use Wi-Fi, but then let's say you leave for work and AT&T's network is now the fastest, it would connect to that.
Also, it starts at $20/month +$10/GB, but whatever you don't use, you get back. I think it's 1¢/MB of unused data you get back.
Also, this is all without a contract.
Compared to European phone plans (I think, anyway), isn't this still kind of expensive?

Yeah. I hit 1000 hours of Blockland on Steam.

Off Topic / Any way to convert my phone to the Google Play Edition and still receive OTAs?

In November of 2014, Google introduced their latest iteration of their Android OS: Lollipop. I currently have the Moto G (2013) XT1034. It is still running Android 4.4.4 Kit Kat, even though Motorola claimed they would provide fast updates to this device.
Needless to say, I am less than happy that 4 months later, I have yet to receive any update for my phone.
Now, Motorola/Google used to sell the Google Play Edition Moto G, which got the update very quickly, because it runs 100% stock Android (the Moto G from Motorola runs near stock, but with a few improvements).
I'm wondering if there's any way to convert my phone to the Google Play Edition (I know this much is possible), unroot it, and go from there like it was a GPE all along and just get the OTA updates as they come out normally.
I'm not particularly interested in flashing custom ROMs and stuff, I just want 5.0 on my Moto G.

I can't say I enjoyed it that much, just for that reason alone.

I ordered a black Pebble Watch on Monday evening and I have yet to receive a shipping notification for it. I know it was in stock.
It's Friday now. Is it possible Amazon just screwed up and never sent the email even though they shipped it?
Also, yes, I know Thursday being New Years day and maybe Wednesday play into it. But I would still think it'd have shipped by now. :/

What kind of performance do you get with Blockland?
I'm trying to figure out if I need a more powerful GPU or CPU to be able to play Blockland on max at 1080p and 60 fps even with a lot of bricks.
I rarely can play at max and get 60 FPS and I have a Celeron 1820 (placeholder until I can get a Core i5), 8 gigs of RAM, and an R9 270.
What performance do you get and what are your specs?

I'm pretty happy with how I've done this year.
Geometry: 97%
Chemistry: 100%
Rhetoric: 96%
Humanities: 95%
Worldviews: 100%
History: 88%
I'm definitely least happy with my performance in history, and I hope to bring that up to at least 90% this coming semester.

So, I think I was working on this over summer break, and I did post a few screenshots of it, but I decided to make a topic about the entire build. As it stands right now it is 22650 bricks. As I do with almost all of my projects, I slowly lost interest in it. I don't know if I'm ever going to finish it or not, but it's there and can give some pretty cool screenshots. Also, don't mind the weird resolution. :P

So, what are you excited for? It can be short term or long term, IDC.
Personally, I'm excited to go to a friends house on Saturday cause he got an Oculus Rift and I'm going to get to try it! XD
I'm also excited to eventually realize my dream of becoming an architect. :)
