Just wondering, cause if I ever choose to upgrade my GPU again, I think I'd rather get another R9 270 rather than a whole new GPU.

General Discussion / My Top 5 Best/Most Influential Add-Ons (What Are Yours?)

What are your top five picks for the most influential and or best add-ons ever made?

Mine are:

1. RTB (do I even need to explain this one?)
2. Slayer. Practically any gamemode or server that uses teams uses this, plus many servers that don't.
3. The very old and maybe glitchy events add-on before events became default. Badspot then went on to make this a HUGE part of the default game.
4. The duplicator. This allows for big build to be made much faster and more efficiently.
5. Modular terrain. Still no full replacement for terrains, but allows for big maps to made with relatively looks brickcounts and not look like utter crap (if done correctly).

So, what's your list? Anything you disagree with on mine? Mine is obviously only based on add-ons I've heard of, so there may very well be better ones for this list.

Sometimes when you say things, people don't hear you correctly, and it can be funny.

For example, last night during dinner, I said, "I'm pretty sure 4k will make it into most people's homes eventually." Both my parents misheard me, thinking I had said, "I'm pretty sure Jorge (pronounced Horhay) will make it into most people's homes eventually."

They were like, "What? Why is Jorge going to make it into most people's homes?!"

I don't know how many of you guys have Quik Trips in your towns, but fairly recently they started rebuilding their gas stations/mini marts. And they are amazing. More gas station companies need to do this. Here's a picture of what I've built in Blockland.

Here's a picture of what the stores look like, with a view of the gas station pumps.
I plan to build a version of the store, minus the angled ends, for hopefully obvious reasons.

Suggestions & Requests / 2 brick requests (pretty simple, I think)

Is there any chance someone can make these two bricks for me? Both the angles are the ones I want, the two squares are to show the preferred bounding box of the 2x2x2 piece. The bounding box would obviously be 1x1x2 for the 1x1x2 brick.

P.S. If you're wondering, this is for angled brickwork. I like to do bricks in 2 plate high increments.

just anything you know is going to happen eventually that you're excited for.
I have this Arts and Culture class, and this first semester, we're watching and discussing movies. At the end of the semester, we're going to the house of a student in the class. I'm excited for that, simply because it's a 5200 square feet $1.15 million house. I'm really excited to see it. Some of you may not know I want to be an architect, so seeing a house like that is exciting to me.

My friend told me yesterday that sometime within the next 3 months, he plans on buying the Oculous Rift. He said he'd let me look through it "once or twice."

There's a pretty big chance that my grandfather who lives in Colorado (I live in St. Louis) will be coming to visit sometime this fall.

I can't wait to see how the current MLB season pans out, especially since the Cardinals now have a 5 game lead in their division.

What 2 games here are the best? I've already decided I want DiRT 3 (I love rally racing, and I already have a steering wheel to use with it), so that leaves two left.
