You can look up youtube videos all day and read books on how to fix cars (all whilst working on yours only)

Or attend a school where you will be taught by experts in the field, have access to all the tools and resources, as well as a plethora of automobiles to work around? All this, in addition to the many connections and relationships you will make with those in the industry?

So uh, yeah. You're a giant buffoon.
Why are you using being a mechanic as a comparison? It's not an apt one

I'm talking about capacity. Everything anyone needs to learn programming is already online, as are the tools to do so. I'm saying he should make a start now because the difference between self learning and university taught programming will not be some magical transition.

If you can't learn it by yourself I don't know how effective a university is going to be teaching it, they're not magicians

I didn't realise that until I went to uni and found out a lot of the content was in an online format anyway. I'd be learning as much as I could before I went, you're probably going to be up against a lot of naturally gifted people

Fair enough. I've just been really obsessed with this theory stuff recently so it tends to leak into arguments because it's what I believe in and what I want to try and achieve with games in the future.
I don't think your application of the theory is anywhere near correct though

What your using sounds like 'ideal types', which aren't meant to be a one-size-fits-all framework to come to some sole individual truth.

Shappeh (I think it was shappeh anyway) will back me up in saying that we found another lot that Permamiss was abusing admin lots. It was the 16x16 behind the Tally bank near Skill's factory.
Everything had render disable, and he had a vehicle spawn and teleport to some other location down at the bottom of the lot. I told Shappeh, he deleted it, and that's why the ban was extended.

That said, what defines a "standard element of gameplay"?

Is a game without music suddenly not a game? If you play a game like Simon Says which is about repeating the music (aka without graphics), is that not a game? Is a game like Pong without a story not a game?

They're subjective elements. You don't need them to have a game. Gameplay itself is not subjective though. The actions you perform and the challenges you face are required.
Do you not know what a catch-all is? You haven't understood what I've said.

Are you a first year university student? because everything you write reads frustratingly like it was written by one.

Who has actually demonstrated that education mediates the relationship between games and enjoyment? I also like the catch-all "unless they're supported by graphics, music and story". "Games that don't teach anything aren't fun unless they additionally have any other standard element of gameplay"

snip
This is the biggest load of armchair philosophy that I've ever seen in the games section.

Games teach skills? are you implying they must teach skills? as far as i'm concerned education is one of many possible functions games have, not some inherently required function

on a more serious note, you should be sleeping

think of sleep as an investment at your age. there's more exciting things you could be doing, granted, but by not getting sleep you're really playing havoc with your hormones - not a good move.

thats actually a nice technique but i imagine you have quite a bit more mass than me so idk what i should expect lol.
Yeah obviously, but I wasn't far off you at your age (bar quite a bit taller)

These are my suggestions

Opt for a slim fit shirt of a smaller size (stops the bunching as much)
Don't worry about arm length, if you're a true ectomorph you'll never get a right fit anyway - roll them always
Something tighter around the neck will make the world of difference, also shoulders should be narrower

Pants should be slim fit again, should be lower than they are from where i'm guessing your hips are

im like incredibly tall and skinny so all the other shirts looked a lot worse than this

tbh i think I looked fine but i hate dress pants so much so i didnt even care when choosing some lmfao
i'm 2 metres tall and really skinny myself, i know the struggle lol

i always lower the stitching on the bottom of my dress pants to give them an extra inch, and opt for smaller sized on shirts and just roll up my sleeves (as long as they still meet length/ should width requirements. definitely makes the difference visually.

i'm not saying that you need to bulk (although wouldn't hurt), more that you just need clothes that fit

the pants look like they're up past your navel, and yeah shirt just way too big for you in all dimensions
