If we're the only people deployed to defend this facility then it must not be that important, but the amount of enemy planes suggest they want to get rid of it bad. Maybe it's a decoy?

I lock onto the damaged Jaguar I'm facing, leading slightly before firing a heatseeker and an extended burst of cannon fire. I pull on the stick and break off to get infrared locks onto one of the two Jaguars that scrapped my missile shots earlier.
"Hey Cage, if you can get them in front of me, I'll be able to get a shot off on them" I look at my radar screen before looking for the rest of the squadron. "The rest of the flight is engaged."
I hit the throttle as the familiar tone of a successful lock-on chimes solidly in my ears and release the heatseeker from my wing, prepared to fire another.
