The ship lands in port, a few hours behind schedule. Myself and the other thousand or so POW's are herded off the vessel like animals, backed together like sheep. I finish up the calibrations for my Hornet on my tablet, and a chat notification pops up in the corner. Tapping the notification window with my finger, the chat window pops up.
Never give your account password to anyone.

L: How is the optic-cable system working out for you?
S: Fine, fine; thanks for speeding up the shipment, so how was your day?
L: Just another normal day, Sen, the logistics department isn't that exciting.
L: Anyways, I see that you've got a delivery of a Eurofighter Typhoon coming in, nice aircraft.
S: Thanks, I'm still keeping the Hornet though.
L: Well, nice chatting with you, gotta get back to doing more paperwork.
S: Right.

L has logged off.

I close out the chat window before putting my tablet back in my flight bag, before I take a sip out of my water canteen.

I turn off the tablet and set it on the table, grabbing a clipboard and a pen. "I'll be here if you need me, I'm going to run some checks on the Hornet before the mechanics decide to replace the engines."
