I go back to the hangar to do maintenance work on my Hornet, going through the engines of my Hornet. The other mechanics in the hangar are either fixing up the Captain's A-10, bringing up the replacement aircraft up to speed, with only one of them working on my Hornet. "I should really get a new set of engines." I mutter before closing the access panel and bolting it shut. I help the mechanics patch up and replace some panels on the Captain's A-10, the damage on it was mostly superficial. The debriefing is probably going to be a massive headache, we lost two pilots in the field and four planes on that mission; not a good way to go about things.

I wrap some fresh bandages around my chest and put on my clothes before leaving the shower with my bag. My other uniform was in a plastic bag, along with other articles of clothing; I drop it off at the base laundry department before walking back to the barracks.
