If you get low FPS on Bandicam that means you won't get anywhere else with other programs. A better HDD would be ideal.

jesus

a better HDD will not increase your FPS because an HDD is unrelated to FPS

upgrade your graphics card

i did, now driving on my pc is awesome. :P

Is it generally a bad idea to overclock a GPU with stock coolers/fans?  I'm just curious, I'm scared to do any kinda overclocking of my system.

I overclocked my 780 Ti (this is like the third time i've said it but /brag) to +200mhz core and +300mhz memory with +37mV on a stock fan. Max temps I've seen are ~70c. Really depends on the stock cooler.

This is what I got for Christmas
Thoughts?

A Radeon 7750 would have given you 30+ FPS for the same price.

I've realized that, in my adventure to figure out if I wanted a PS4 or Xbox One that the only logical choice would be to just build a PC.

The costs will eventually even out (Pretty much) and the PC will be good for my video editing and game capturing.
So with the job I will be getting (hopefully) Im going to start saving money over the summer that way maybe as a birthday gift to myself Ill build my own PC.

I love you.

using napkins

Don't.

do I need to worry about wattage on this?
I'm upgrading my cpu from a 4300 to an 8320 and getting an additional SSD
(I already updated the bios)

You have 100W of headroom. You're fine.

Shadowplay -- includes recording from the previous 20 minutes, active recording, 1 button streaming to Twitch, and it's free.

Thanks to our kerosene heater a ton of stuff here is getting coating in something from its smoke, can that be harmful to my internals?
Also because of how warm it gets it in here my temperature is going up to 70C when I game, is that bad?

I just seen it hit 77C, that can't be good

77C is not bad for 100% use on a video card. I get 80C on mine. As long as it doesn't go over, say, 100C, you're fine.

Do get that soot and dust out of there. Get a fan filter in whatever size your fans are. They're about $5. If it's an outtake fan, however, you don't need one. Just canned air the mass of your case and get the small parts with a paintbrush. DO NOT use anything that could build up static.

The reason the titan still sells for 1K is because it has something like 24x compute performance than the 780 ti, although it's far inferior in typical gaming workloads. It's now in the vein of workstation graphics cards.

http://www.anandtech.com/show/7492/the-geforce-gtx-780-ti-review/14

This shows equal (if not better) compute performance on the 780 ti vs the titan. I'm seeing one benchmark where the Titan was better by far, Folding@home double precision, with a 6ms difference. Not exactly 24x the performance.

You also can't accuse them with no real basis. Well you can, but it won't get you anywhere.

Are you implying that it would get them somewhere if, by some miracle, they actually get the correct information of the DDOSer?

235
But if that's the case, why does the GTX 770 come in 4GB and not the GTX 780, wouldn't the higher quality card get more VRAM instead of less?

Edit: Double post, forgot to edit.

Really?

No, 1GB more of VRAM does not make the 770 a better card than a 780.
The 770 is not a double 4K card. It does not matter that it has 1GB more VRAM because you'll never use it on 1080p.

Whats so bad about my SSD's? They work amazing. Both operating systems boot in 4 seconds, and neither have gave me any problems.

They are not necessarily bad SSDs, but a bad purchase as their performance/price is worse than, say, an 840 EVO.

forget it, I'm taking legal action

Some people place carrots for the reindeer.

Caribou don't eat carrots, though!
