WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?
Welcome to Nonnel's Nation RP: Peace in our Time! This RP puts you at the forefront of the devastating second World War, which historically tore down many once-great empires. By joining, you will be able to mend history to your desire. So far, Germany has been taken over by a National Socialist (or national socialist!) named Adolf Riddler who has begun to revitalize, as well as remilitarize, the country in spite of the Treaty of Versailles which has kept the peace in Europe for about twenty years. Will freedom and democracy prevail once again? Will flagrant nationalism and fascism divide the world in bitterness? Will the Revolution finally turn the world into a Marxist utopia? It's up to you!
How do I join?
Simple, just pick a country and make a post! You can start roleplaying right away, you don't need to wait for me to update.
What can I do exactly?
Upon posting, you become the ruler of your nation. You control all forms of national government. You command your military, diplomats, and any other federal shenanigans you can think of. Trade, ally, war, whatever with your surrounding nations and the nations of the world. You can change your government as you like, but be aware that your citizens as well as your allies might not appreciate your changes. Major alterations like changing your ideology will almost definitely cause riots or even a full-blown war. With great power comes great responsibility; play wisely.

World War II was one of the most impressive times for technological and scientific innovation the world has yet seen. Because of this, it is important to increase your nation's technology in a variety of areas in order to compete with the rest. Most nations will be able to research 2 technologies per season (or per real day) while great nations will be able to research 4 per season.

RULES
1. Use common sense. No godmodding, powergaming, what-have-you.
2. Don't be an ass. This includes, but is not limited to, being an starfish, a dumbass, or even an asshat.
3. Tech up along with the charts. Cheating this will not be tolerated.
4. Don't go to war with someone who has just joined without their consent.
5. Do not RP for other nations, you mongoloids.
6. If you attack someone, wait for them to respond before continuing your attack.
7. You cannot sell large portions of land at a time.
8. Rule 8.
9. Covert actions may be done via PM to me. If you do anything secretive, please keep me informed so I can better host the RP!
10. This thread is not about cheating to get your way. Please don't make deals out of character that will effect things you do in character.

In season 3 episode 12, Abra-Catastrophe, it's shown that Vicky began babysitting Timmy when he was 9 years old and he got his fairy godparents then as well. HOWEVER: the PILOT EPISODE established that he was 10 years old when these things happened?? Why are you retconning, viacom????

So this has happened a few times before, but for no reason at all, my alarms just didn't go off. It seems to happen completely at random. Usually it wasn't much of an issue, but today I missed my final because of it. Is there any reason this is happening? My alarm sound is up so that's not the problem.
