« on: October 10, 2017, 11:52:32 AM »so why is catalonia declaring independence againcatalonia has never really fit in with spain. different cultural makeup, different language, etc. Them being the 4th richest region in Spain also makes a lot of the money made in the region have to go to other poorer regions, so they feel they're getting a bad deal. The fact that their parent country sent in military to abuse their citizens participating in a peaceful democratic vote only exacerbated the movement.
