This might've happened during transit and might've also explained the bubblewrap, although that didn't do much. Although it should apparently be "fixable", it's so common the official website has a FAQ declaring the design issue. https://sakuraofamerica.com/content-page/faq#25 But that's why they were so cheap I guess, note that it was like $0.82 per pen.yeah that happens all the time
