The way I see it, it's fine to kill and eat something that feels pain. Humans are omnivores and it's a natural part of life. Factory farms, though, are inhumane since animals are left in horrible, cramped conditions for their whole lives then put on a conveyer belt to get slaughtered.

That's why open range grass-fed cattle is popular. The animals at least get to live their lives before we kill them.

and yes, animals have feelings.

honestly, i get it. animals are living, breathing things just like us. the only difference is they aren't as intelligent. it is pretty horrible that we pack them together, treat them like stuff, breed them to eat them, and whatever.

that being said i'm not gonna stop eating meat anytime soon lol

millions of people were forced into slavery, tortured, raped, treated as property, and on and on. economic benefit for europeans does not justify trampling africans' rights, stealing their land and resources, and dividing and conquering so they can't rise back up.
