So now we've moved from 'acquitting myself using plausible deniability' to 'nitpicking Seventh's character based on three year old internet arguments'?

No, but I remember that moment particularly because it was the day you started viewing me through a hate filter.

I'm supposed to ignore your genuine slipups, yet my legitimate attempt to make a unique machinima is slated as some crazy hobo madness where some reasonably boring "book" about Blockland is apparently the most damning crime to Blockland.

Even though I'm open about it, you still pester me here and ingame about the situation as if I'm trying to hide it. If that were the case I would have deleted it on day 1. Thats what everyone ignores. I willingly supply it to this day.

I seriously don't even see why you're posting in the thread anymore.

Fair enough. But I will always offer an olive branch in dramas where everything is a false rumour. You might think that is stupid but a hoax book is so trivial.

It shouldn't still be this heated so long afterwards when the record was already set straight.

If even you feel I've done enough here then I shall surely stop talking about it.

No

It was sold to Warner Brothers. Frontrox and I have agreed it will be a stellar cast of "Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, and Nicholas Cage in a wig".

I'm sort of conflicted on whether you still believe that you have an audience buying this bullstuff, or you're so delusional that you've rationalized your autobiography as the lead-up to a Machinima.

Oh please.

The only mystery is why a year later you are still obsessed with a watery Steve Jobs spoof.

If you are so convinced this is all some elaborate conspiracy, maybe you should stop being such a big part of it.

Especially given that you didn't immediately explain that it was part of a machinima in your second post in this thread. I find it more likely that you took a bit to think of a lie.

I explained this about a year a go but never gave many details.

This isn't today's fabrication, lol. Its been known for a looong time.

Anyhow  don't know what you think "proof" is.

This happened about one and a bit years a go, the only things I have left are builds from v8 that were going to be used and an editable of the bio somewhere probably.

I don't think you're making any progress trying to convince people that your 20,000 page (auto)biography was a farce made to be a part of a Machinima.

Lol 20000 page.

That is fine. You have the story behind it. My purpose is not to convince you because you have made your mind up. But anybody who has real interest in its origins now knows how it came to be.

Electrk you are choosing to believe it was me. I don't even know why you think I'd report your Dropbox like I wanted to personally upset you. What interest would I have?

setup, filming, editing still had to be done. and given that you wrote a 20,000 word biography, I can only assume this supposed project was going to be pretty long. So once again, why would you release it so early? And where did you explain that it was all for a machinima before? In fact, why didn't you immediately qualify when people started tearing you a new one on the old thread?

Writing it took a while, it wasn't done overnight, and I wasn't sure if I'd ever finish it. It was a guideline for where the movie would go, since I wanted it to portray actual happenings in Blockland and I can only really use my own experiences for that.

The machinima would have been maybe 30 minutes, it is hard to tell. Without a word-for-word script, which I never do, it is easy to race through. I can't really say what the outcome would have been.

I don't tend to talk about my projects before hand, either. I once did this melodramatic machinima "Thereafter" which I made and released without anyone knowing. It didn't get much viewing, so I never did it like that again.

Taking of Isar was already known to people so that was easy. The Late Night Blockland Show had a teaser before the episode was even made.

I didn't give it away when the book turned to drama because... well, as I say, drama has always been helpful in floating projects. If I said "oh no its okay its just a sham" people would have lost interest, accused me of trolling, and so on. I did continue work on the movie after the bio came out but it didn't get very far.

There are many machinimas I have half made or never finished. This is just a particularly significant crumble.

You've said that three times. Who cares what you say? Prove it or it's just more examples of you bullstuffting into infinity, lol.

Just because you are tired of it doesn't make it less true.

I will always view your opinions as an inside joke because it just doesn't reflect the process and intentions I had. That is just how it is.

...what?

Well, I mean, to have a "higher quality" of "artwork" suggests I have a quality artwork already.

I'm just teasing.

But yeah it is quite easy to throw together films in Blockland. In the Isar films, I just got random people off RTB chat to play different parts. If you watch the credit sequence, you'll see there are more player names than characters lol.

you must be really loving bored to write an autobiography

If you read it, you'll find its just short mentions of things that happened in Blockland. Its not elaborate at all. Was going to be used as directions for the machinima.

The Taking of Isar had no script. We just winged it, as you can probably tell. I think I wrote one page and then never used it.

I seriously doubt you have a second body of much higher quality artwork located elsewhere, since you'd be the first one to flaunt it all over these forums.

Are you implying my short videos are high quality artwork? Well, that is interesting.

Well, again, its really not that interesting SeventhSandwich. Maybe it should have been, but it isn't.

I don't get why my antics are considered "work I take seriously" by you. Its all just for fun. The reason most of my "projects" never lasted long is because I got bored of them pretty quickly.

icy is very cool just look how important and professional and how he wrights paragraphs! also his avatar is a guy wearing a suit! he must be cool and boltser is just trying to undermine his authority! and hes so cool some guy wrote a biography of him! wow so important and cool and not trying very hard to be an egotistic cunt who just wont stop! right, guys? ...right?

Yeah thats usually what it ends up as.

The drama is more fun than the bio itself so that is what really outlives it.

The obvious conclusion here is that while you were away from the forums for 10 months, you wised up to the fact that your autobiography, identity, and videos are complete rubbish.

Uh no, I revealed this a lonnng time a go.

Its really not as interesting as you wish it were.

i'm having trouble believing that, though it fits previous happenings well..
why would you release the bio before the machinima was even half way complete

There is no movie without the book.

The builds were ready and the script was done. It was just a matter of getting a voice actor and pulling some randoms off RTB chat to be the "physical" actors. Same thing I do with all my movies.

I still totally stand by what this is.

The PDF itself isn't particularly exciting. Its essentially a spoof of the Steve Jobs book which is written as though the clans, videos, etc are real companies, television shows.

There is no secret that the PDF was a fraud. I revealed this pretty early on, but the likes of Boltster and whatnot decided to not believe what I said and have been purposefully burying it since.

Its essentially propaganda to fuel what was going to be a machinima. Sure, there is an element of "hey, remember when I made this ---" in it, because I liked the idea of having server stories like some others were writing, but this PDF really is just a overwritten, ridiculously cynical document about fluff builds to garner attention (and insult Seventh Sandwich due to popular demand).

The Blockland movie itself was never even half made for a few reasons. The mystery "writer" of the book was going to be a voice actor, who would narrate it as though he was talking about meeting the Icy character in the movie. But unfortunately I could never find the person to do it. Swholli used to do a lot of voicing for me but he stopped being available. I couldn't do it myself because that would be stupid.

The plot was going to be that my character dies and then his son and the writer of the book go back in time, using a hidden Blockland eventing machine, where they move through the different versions of BL to find the things that happened in the book. The characters would end up trapped in the v8 version where the eventing system didn't exist, and they'd have to find the "old me" to rebuild a time machine using Space Guys event system. Yes, its a little bit "Back to The Future" rip off but it would have been fun.

The end wasn't settled on but it'd have been something warmingly corny like "oh, somehow IcyGamma never died in xxxx" and then the last copy of the bio, as it was written and released on the forum, would reveal he was still alive and the end shot would be it in a book store or something silly. Originally I was going to write that I died in the Bio, but I took it out because there was a fear it might be reported as an elaborate "leaving post".

There were multiple types of the bio; one was a "IcyGamma diary" that was themed to look like an old leather back and it was written like "Day 1:  We sold our computer for the first time today." but it was a little too contrived and about two times as long as the bio. I had also just finished reading Steve Job's book and I thought it'd be the most recognizable spoof.

I've used techniques like this before to float videos and projects through drama. The Isar Tower was another project where I had taken a Blockland story and turned it into a machinima. Isar Tower was only interesting to people because there were multiple dramas attached to it over "save stealing" and other things.

If you believe the Bio is some kind of realistic portrayal then you must also believe that The Taking of Isar tower really happened and I died in a terrorist incident.

Although I don't really get any positive mileage out of it anymore, I think there is something unique about how even a year and a half later, the interest in what it was and what it meant still burns on. This is my most enduring Blockland project, nothing else I made while playing the game has ever managed to capture the curiosity of people for so long. And I still think that is neat.

Everyone has their own theory as to what it meant. I've explained the reasons behind it before, and nobody has to accept my version of why the Bio exists. But I mean, that is it, and I've already told people before. Maybe you will find that more exciting than the made up reasons people have posted. Maybe you won't.

Unpaid freelance work taking up too much time for gaming?

I'm into space games and FPS right now. Humble Bundles are very distracting too.
