I'm calling BS. It's incredibly unlikely that a group of people would conspire to slander your name when you haven't even been on the forums for 10 months. Everyone stopped caring like a month or two after you left.

Oh yeah, and the day I return this just "naturally" happens by itself.

I call Boltster. This isn't the first time he has taken something too far and denied it.

You can stop bothering with this kind of stuff. I'm just loitering to see the effect Steam has. My days of playing clans, blogs, and stories are long gone. No need to try and get rid of me so quickly.

I wouldn't believe icy and his excuses, It's pretty likely he's just covering his back.

Ah yes, I timed all of this especially to release IcyGamma Bio 2.0, the edition where Boltster is revealed as my alter ego.

$2.99 pay now and receive later.

You don't even get the sandwich.

Anyhow this topic is a hoax.  As I've said before, if you want a copy of the PDF just flick me a message on YouTube and I can get you a link. I might reinstate a Mediafire link sometime, didn't realize people were still interested a year on.

I've been planning to return for a bit once Blockland came on Steam. I guess one of you found out and set this up. How thoughtful as always, Boltser.

How did you do this without VCE.

Hey there, you recently inquired into my hard drive.

It works using relays and toggle events basically. If you want to understand exactly how, I have a video here that explains in detail what it does: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRGAj2kJncY

Its devoid of any event mods, only default.

Thanks for taking interest.

What happened to Block Wars?

I"m pretty sure block wars was Svenne's project and not BEE.

Swholli took it over.

We spoke to him about Block Wars, what happened to BEE, and the website in an interview with him here (which also includes a Blockwars preview):

in other parts of the world the date would be written 17-9-2013 rather than 9-17-2013 because the rest of the world goes from smallest to largest (day-month-year)

I can't believe Maxwell didn't know that lol.

V seems fine except the PC port is still just a case of "we'll probably do it maybe". I don't like consoles.

IV is universally acknowledged as a stuffty port. Not holding out a lot of hope.

I think you are right there about the quick format vs full, I did some looking into it and some people seem to suggest a full format does shred the files instead of clear the table like quick would.

Highly improbable seeing as how he reformatted it 9 times. Usually reformatting any sort of memory device just one time wipes it clean.

I highly doubt formatting a drive securely erases all free space no matter how many times you do it.

As long as he hasn't overwritten the drive with new data (reformatting does not overwrite every part of the drive) then it is still there. Same for hard drives, don't think re-partitioning clears your data. No no.

Yeah if you formatted it your files are gone

I don't know how flash drives work entirely, but formatting is unlikely to have overwritten every piece of data on the drive. He could probably recover most of it using a freeware tool.

Off Topic / Re: Cloning - Is it okay?
« on: January 29, 2013, 09:07:38 PM »
OP is silly.

As has been pointed out, he is just describing the plot of The Island which he probably heard / saw somewhere.

Human cloning is not a reality of the future. If the existence of such technology existed, which it doesn't to the standard you are describing, it would not automatically overrule the ethical issues that would completely strangle any possibility of it becoming a reality.

There will never be a time in a civilized society where killing people for organs, clone or otherwise, becomes an acceptable norm.

As has also been mentioned, the ability to grow replacement body parts is a technology that real focus is being put on and progress is being made. Already a trachea was grown using stem cells to complete a surgery that saved a cancer patient in 2011. This side of research will continue to dominate. Fantasy sci-fi clones will not.

Using the stock cooler right now as well. I have a Corsair H100 that currently is in a swamp in California, and about to be thrown in the trash because the pump failed. Once Asetek- I mean, Corsair, sends me a new one, I'll check out the new temperatures that will actually be half-decent.

The stock cooler keeps the PC idle at about 35C stock (Asus P8Z77M-PRO, i5 2500K) and on full usage it's about 60C. It's not that great of a cooler but it works.

D:

Yikes. Hope the new one is decent,

What are you using to tell your temps?

AI Suite II, provided by Asus with the motherboard, and Asus GPU Monitor, provided with the GPU.

Just played Hitman: Absolution and the GPU went up to 55-59 degrees, I guess I still don't have a good enough idea yet.

30
My CPU and GPU have not gotten over 50 degrees while under pressure.

GPU works at 33 degrees when its barely doing anything, and reaches about 49 when its maxed out.

CPU seems to be working at 38 - 47 degrees so far.

Uses a 140mm fan at the back to suck air out. A BitFenix Spectre Pro 230mm fan at the front. GPU has Asus-packaged DirectCU fan / casing, its a HD 7770 GHz. CPU is an i5 3570 (non k) and uses stock cooler.

Asus P8Z77-I deluxe mini-itx motherboard runs at 29-33 degrees.

As far as my room temperature goes, its been between 26 - 30 degrees here.

Point is, don't buy any major cooling unless you really need it.
