I was playing Blockland late last night.

My dream was of being in a place that was like a science lab / office and all the regulars from Wounds server where there IRL trying to forget each other.

:?

Imo about the Paranormal Activity not being scary thing, it is not scary to you if you watch it on a computer or television.

The whole effect of the movie relies on the loudness and in-your-face screen you get at the cinema. A theater causes a sense of tension and crowd-hysteria where people set each other off.

Thats how scary movies usually get their ground.

Wtf at the bowl cut discussion.

There is no such thing as a "bowl cut generic term". A bowl is a bowl and it looks god awful.

SPOILER

Which is the one where the father refuses to believe the daughter even though there is compelling evidence from the security cameras, and then in the end he gets his neck snapped after they pass on the burden to that other family.

That was so lol.

I can imagine him making crappy jokes about game shows and stuff

Yeah he made a few.

And then he sang out of key before the countdown.

Lol. V_V

I hate to be a wet blanket but.

Psychologically speaking,  you can't just decide to change and do it. To make a change in your life you need to start today and ease into it. Don't wait for something like New Years.

I think there was a figure that showed something like 80% of people will fail their resolutions.

You can't break or develop habits overnight.

NZ doesn't have an official New Years show. They tend to do countdowns and stuff on certain channels.

They did a New Years Eve show in 2009 with this washed up quiz show host. It was pretty terrible. Must have had stuff ratings because they never did it again.

Thanks :3

The closet thing I'm working on in terms of having hard drives connect to each other is the HDA port which'll let you connect two together. Currently this would be only for writing because of how the reading system works but, it wouldn't be hard to tweak to make it share reading as well.

Then why did you say that as a response?

> was implying people with the view "Linux" is a specific enough term are probably using Ubuntu since its prone to end-users

> was not implying using ubuntu is bad

And by that you mean ..?

An unseasoned Linux user will have no tried more than Ubuntu imo.

it really doesn't make much sense and is especially annoying when somebody has a problem
it's quite difficult to resolve a problem that somebody is having when you don't even know what operating system they are using

Yeah... most of those people probably didn't wander past Ubuntu I bet.
