158 days, motherforgeter. That's probably more that I played all the pokemon games combined. And believe me, I've logged so many hours into pokemon I know that stuff back to front

I feel like Minecraft being a "wiki game" really dampens the spirit of adventure and curiosity

I want to see someone who has never heard of a desert temple find one, not know about the treasure pit, and then fall into it while trying to collect the wool and blowing up

That's why I liked the game in the first place. It was a game of wonder and amusement. Now that everything is known about new updates nearly instantly kills the boner I had for this game. I find myself only playing this game in sad, 30 minute increments at a time with little attentiveness and ambition that I once had.

I know, it's a video game, not an engagement.

Ghosts n' Goblins. Games that force you to redo near impossible parts with as little mercy as posdible get me.

IWTBTG and Super Meat Boy may be difficult but they're lazy games. Honestly, games that kill you in one hit are not even entertaining or fun in the least bit.

Resident Evil used to be the same category as Silent Hill when both started out: survival horror. However, Resident Evil has evolved into a mutant hack and slash fest that digresses from the previous genre. Silent Hill has become a series that lost its charms after the first few games, however the fourth one did perk my interest.


In terms of scariness: Silent Hill

In terms of gameplay: Resident Evil

In terms of replayability: Resident Evil

In terms of music: Silent Hill

Best SH: 4, again.

Verdict: Personally, I like a game where I feel empowered, not helpless. And Resident Evil tends to that. But if I ever need a game to have me stuffting my jeans, wishing I hadn't used those bullets, then Silent Hill. Overall, Resident Evil is better (despite capcom slowly killing it :((()
