Games / Re: Hey forums, I bought a ps1. What games should I get?

I bought it already :)
Guess you know something about smart purchases. Personally bought it for Spec Ops: The line, Darkness 2 and XCOM: Declassified. Gifted the rest.

There's apparently some big ass hardware problem in Gen 1 PS1 consoles that causes the components to overheat unless you flip the whole console upside down, so be aware.

it was $7 and it had two controllers
plus emulators are dumb
The recent 2K humble bundle is like 7$.

Emulators can't emulate everything to the brim. The dialog in some of the PS1 harry potter games repeats on an emulator and the Banjo Kazooie screen transition effect doesn't work correctly.

>buying a PS1 instead of using an emulator on a PC and making the games look somewhat tolerable with AA, 60fps and HD res

What are you, a game collector or something? If you're buying it for playing it, there's not much of a point. 3D games look extremely murky on any TV if you're using the antenna/brown townog connectors whatever they're called.

unlike the other two, they have good games to fall back on
Haven't like the last 5 games released by nintendo been rated 90 or higher on Metacritic?

EDIT: Nope, but Nintendo has 2 pages of games with their metascore over 90.

Sony Computer Entertainment doesn't have a log at all and Microsoft Studios only has a little over a half of a page of 90=< rated games.

Go on, give that a try!
This is the reason why i love San Fierro's design.

I drew what I thought the forums would look like if they were all shoved into one person.

It's not fat, and there isn't a massive vacuum in the crotch area

you're a failure.

didnt someone get banned for mentioning/linking that

i mean, i didnt know badspot was into loli
Linking it? probably.

Mentioning it? That would be stupid.

I don't get why people feel that Badspot is embarrassed about that website. The things on there are pretty well made and he's a talented artist.

also some of them (minority/most i don't know) are made because he got paid to do it. There's a system on the website that you can use to send him 10 dollars and he draws something for you according to your request.

Actually this, too, though I believe this extends to everyone.  Identity isn't fully what defines you; it's how you evaluate yourself and how you choose to recreate yourself that matters.

On a side note,

While indeed the Dalai Lama (XIV) is religious, I found it very interesting to read some of his works.  Outside of his religious views, he is very intellectual as well.  I believe more strongly in eastern philosophy, though I strongly agree with some of the sayings of the Stoics and Heraclitus.
Yeah except Dalai Lama believes in buddhism which is an atheist religion

this is why I hate atheists

Religious people CAN be secular if they would stop letting their religion dictate their political lives, which happens like, never
secular doesn't mean "intelligent", it just means "out of religion"

He said that he can be religious and out of religion at the same time.

That's some wheelchair quantum physics.

Can't we just agree that religion has no effect over how big of an starfish you are and it's just a (secular) group you associate yourself with.

like

what are you trying to even say

that religion is a secular group?
