That uses a mix of "onPlayertouch" and "onActivate", Op wants to be capable of interacting with a brick and walking along it but when it is collided with something at a certain velocity it fake kills.

Maybe take a look at S-Tuner, It focuses more on Japanese cars but it could be some use for future inspiration.

I've never understood why Badspot doesn't open the game to the community to fool around with, it'd breath some life into his earlier projects and give others a bit more insight into the history of his games. I really think the community could make something cool with the games assets if they were opened up. I know Badspot is preoccupied with other stuff he'd much more prefer to work on, but it should be something he should consider.

are you using the old saves for ACM/beta city or the new saves?
I thought they loaded on the ground now and loaded in the air before?
The saves load on the ground now, but he's using the coordinates so they can load on the surface of the bedroom.
