Off Topic / How I just realised that death can ruin the memory of a good life

I know, Herp Derp right. Of course death stops and can ruin life (Or more so ruins those that care about the life lost). After my cat going missing some 3 months ago ive realised that if I ever got another pet i'd only be depressed by the tradgedy of its loss again. Wether that be through old age or other causes. This lead me to think about losing my grandfather and cousin. This world is so full of death it just spoils everything at the end. Memories become bitter and pain me when i think about those ive lost.
I'm sorry if I sound like an emotionaly depressed twat but, I really don't want to go through the pain of losing anything I love but, it's going to happen, It's going to happen to all of us and it's going to happen regurarly.

My Creative Labs VF-0040 Webcam has no Win 7/Vista drivers I can find and I need it quite urgently. I've been searching everywhere. :C The official website hasn't got any drivers that work.
If anyone can find it I will love them long time.

Off Topic / Truly freaked out right now

Its 4am here annd i just woke up to the crasiest noise. Its like a constant high pitched note. Its sounds distant but occasionally another high note comes in over it aswell then stops. At first i thought it was an alarm but it fades in and out as if whatever's emanating it is moving.
I have tried to record the aound with my phones video camera. I have no idea of the quality and will post later in the day hopefully.
Edit: Okay you cant hear it at all in the recording. The sound has happened twice now so if i hear it again ill try and switch my comp on and get audacity + mics plugged in.

Off Topic / Work experience in England

So for 2 weeks all the Year 10s get to do "Work Experience" Basicly un-paid work. Sounds stuff really but a lot of students see it better than school. I already have a job. Been there for a year and work weekends so I decided that i'd do my work experience there. My boss said I could do any hours i like so im just doing 2 a day :) He's also still gonna pay me. Feels like a 2 week break from school and an oppurtunity to get some money. Also he said i can come in whenever he doesnt really care becasue i'll just be working when he already has enough people on shift, He only really needs me for weekends.

Frozen Synapse is a new turn based shooter from an indie company called Mode7. It's completely unique and their site has just blown up because of TotalBiscuit's reiew and the amount of people rushing to buy it. Player's guide a squad of troops with different weapons into close/mid-range combat with completely destructable enviroment. You take your turn at the same time so you have to predict the enemy squad's movement.

Okay so 2 of my friends have had love withher and she wanted to have love with a 3rd but he said no. I don't get why she would post this as her facebook status though. It's self degrading and I think she has family on facebook.

It's pretty popular. One guy leaving work and people are saying "Hey, [his name]" as he goes by and he high fives them or something and then eventually a robber tries to rob him and he high fives his gun or something similair and the robber shoots himself in the foot.

Off Topic / My probably polish neighbours

Well, I have some foreign neighbours over the alleyway from the back of our house. Well last night they had a massive party that lasted till 7am (I watched from my window and pretended I was part of it ;_;)
So this morning they're still at it and I leave for work. I come back and the party is over apparently and I can hear one of them shouting. I look out of the window and he's shouting at someone else. He starts getting louder and louder until he throws a bottle on the floor, grabs the other person and grapples him on to a table and starts punching him.
It was epic. Also, I tried to film it but only got my phone it in time for the aftermath of the scruffle. His girlfriend was holding him back eventually but as I type the 5 of them are in the back yard listening to techno and drinking the whole situation off.
Crazy polish people.

So i've been working on this awesome crysis 2 music video with footage I got myself. I've been working on it all day. I play it back from the begining to make sure it's all good and suddenly:
It happened during playback but stuffty thing is if i click in the middle of the clips they still play. All the source files are still there and I could re-do it but that would take forever.

Off Topic / Have any of you ever had a cat run away?

My cat has been gone for 6 days now. He just never came back one night. He's done this twice before but one was for 1 day and the other was for three. We have a brilliant relationship and he always sleeps in my room watching me play on my computer and getting strokes off me, etc. We always feed him very well and there is always cat litter. There's no way he ran away because he was upset with his living standard. He might be out hunting or just gone for a long wander for a week but i'm more worried that he's stuck somewhere/too far way from home and lost.
I've been searching everywhere in the area and he is not in the local park or streets of the local neighbourhoods as far as I can tell. When we let him out usually we don't actually know where he goes (We assume he goes to a friend's territory) so we have no idea where to go to foloow him but I have an idea of the general direction he probably went if he is lost.
We've called into all of merseyside's vets, the RSPCA and the police (Incase he is dead. :[ ) and none of them have seen him. I've also asked atleast 2 people from every neighbourhood and the park around here if they have seen him.
He has just vanished. I'm wondering if any of you have had this happen to you and what I can expect?
Also, if any of you live in the merseyside area of England please keep an eye out for him. He repsonds to 'Kaiba' and has a fang missing which causes his lip to get stuck sometimes (Which makes him recognisable) PM me if you see him.
