I've noticed quite a lot of people apparently own some of the Dawn of War games.
Discuss/group together for some online play/etc. here. Yes there have been multiple topics similar to this but they are too old AFAIK according to the forum system.
Anyone wanna play Dawn of War II Chaos Rising Last Stand right now?
Info:Dawn of War 1 Series
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War is a military science fiction real-time strategy video game game developed by Relic Entertainment based on Games Workshop's popular tabletop wargame, Warhammer 40,000. It was released by THQ on September 20, 2004 in North America. Since its release, three expansion packs have been released: Winter Assault in 2005, Dark Crusade in 2006 and Soulstorm in 2008. The sequel, Dawn of War II was released in February 2009.
The Game of the Year edition was released on September 21, 2005 in the USA and on September 23 in Europe, containing 4 exclusive maps. Later, the Game of the Year edition and Winter Assault were bundled in the Gold Edition in the USA, released in March 2006. In November 2006, Dawn of War and its first two expansions were released together as The Platinum Collection in the USA or as the Dawn of War Anthology in the PAL regions. More recently, in March 2008, all three expansions along with Dawn of War have been released as The Complete Collection.

There are two resources in the game: Power and Requisition. Although you might consider Power to be "build generators to power up your base" a la Command and Conquer style, it is actually a pure resource. Both resources are gathered at a rate, requisition is provided by capturing Strategic Points, Critical Locations, or Relics which unlock a special ability for the race. Power is provided by Power Generators or Thermo Power Generators built on special rare Slag Deposits that give you more power than a regular generator.
The game is entirely squad based with the exception of special units and vehicles. Most squads can be simply reinforced but others can have additional weaponry added to them in numerous ways.

There is one expansion and two stand alone expansions, meaning they do not require the original Dawn of War to play. However, to play more races online, you must own the other games. Explained afterwards.
Dawn of War 1 lets you play Space Marines, Chaos, Eldar and Orks online.
Winter Assault requires Dawn of War 1 and lets you play Imperial Guard.
Dark Crusade lets you play Necron and Tau.
Soulstorm lets you play Dark Eldar and Sisters of Battle.
Soulstorm lets you play all races singleplayer.
Dark Crusade lets you play all races in singleplayer as well except for the Dark Eldar and Sisters of Battle.
Winter Assault lets you play all races in singleplayer except for the Necrons, Tau, Dark Eldar and Sisters of Battle.
Dawn of War lets you play the remaining 4 "vanilla" races.
The older games like Winter Assault don't let you play the other races in singleplayer because they don't come with that game.
Basically if you don't own one game you cannot play the races that the one game offers. Don't own Winter Assault but you own all the others? You can play anyone but Imperial Guard. Don't own Dark Crusade or Dawn of War 1? You can't play Necrons, Tau, Space Marines, Chaos, Ork or Eldar online.
Dawn of War 2 series

In Dawn of War II, many things are changed that make it stand apart from its predecessor. The first is that the game uses both Games for Windows LIVE
and Steam. Second is that base building has been entirely removed from the game and the game now focuses on purely vehicle/infantry combat squad control.
There are four races in Dawn of War II. Space Marines, Eldar, Orks, and for the first time Tyranids, insectoid bio-organic living creatures that hate anything else in their tracks.
There is currently one expansion for Dawn of War II, Chaos Rising, which brings a new race to the Dawn of War II game-universe, the dark forces of Chaos. Unlike the first Dawn of War where Chaos was themed with blood, they are now more or less themed with dark energies as they are usually seen. The campaign features choices along the whole storyline that either corrupt your deployed squads or redeem them, either giving them new deadly powers in trade for their regular ones or keeping them true to the Emperor's beliefs.
Not to mention the game's engine is graphically superior by a lot compared to the first Dawn of War (but even though I still prefer Dawn of War 1 because of its base building.)
I went ahead and linked that one because it makes a sweet wallpaper. Original in 1920x1080.
