It's literally no longer supported. The only people who play Gmod 9 anymore are lazy Russian crack addicts living in western Russia with a dial up modem.

Suggestion: Get a good computer and BUY gmod 10.

The source engine was made to be played on not so good computers, right?

The HL2 version is. The Orange Box Source SDK is like an upgraded version, and L4D/L4D2 are modified versions of those engines.
