If you wanted a function like clientCmdMessageSent you'd have to use NMH_Type::send(%this), but it's fine if you just made a mistake.

So none of these use an actual programming language?
(Even if its made up for the game)
0x10c will use Assembly programming. Dotdotcircle and I are going to write a C/C++ compiler and write an operating system and stuff for our ship when it comes out.

Headcrab is right, you're handicapped. Please go away if you're just going to troll in Coding Help, this isn't the proper board to forget with people.

If it bugs you that much, I removed all the old ones I could find and uploaded a "fixed" version of the current RTB (4.04) here.

Please do not attempt to make ridiculously large, colored, and bolded text. Anyway; this information was already readily available with the aid of . In my opinion, we should just redirect people to the search feature when they ask questions like "how do you make a chat bot?"

You can't. You have to boot to Linux directly, which means it has to be booted off some kind of removable media.

If you've got a spare floppy disk you may be able to fit Damn Small Linux on it depending on the size.

I laughed so hard when I saw Wound's dox. He's this chubby little kid that looks so awkward, it's hilarious.

You posted no code for us to help with, only the question "is that possible?"

So; to answer your question: yes.

Off Topic / Re: Why do boy scouts get so much flack?
« on: January 02, 2013, 04:31:39 AM »
I'm so glad I've never been a Boy Scout. When I was like 6 I thought it was cool that they got pocket knives, but then as soon as I stopped caring I got a bigger and better one from my father. It seems like a humongous waste of time to me. The incredibly difficult to navigate site hasn't failed to anger me at every turn: from empty promises of character building to undefined morals that are apparently being instilled into youth this entire organisation is losing my respect by the word. I've never made fun of someone for being a boy scout before, but I'm way more obligated to now that I've actually learned what they do. It angers me that an organization would not only front the promise of ethics being transmuted from mere abstracts to personal moral standards but assert their moral standards as greater or better than any other moral standards.

I've never even thought this before, but now I feel more than comfortable admitting: I despise the Boy Scouts of America, and I do not respect any loyal member of this disgusting organization.

Jokes aisde thats unhealthy.

You'd end up just unloading in your sleep.
Or spewing exceptionally potent sperm through a potentially broken condom. That would be irresponsible. Resume action.

General Discussion / Re: Blockland is getting Boring
« on: January 01, 2013, 02:06:06 AM »
The quality of this game is relative to you. For example, a hundred and one new, original servers would not improve this game at all for me. I join about three servers:

1) Slicksilver555's Server -- Pseudofreebuild, mostly just for chatting and jumping around.
2) Dotdotcircle's Zen -- Dotdotcircle builds while we jump around on his build and chat.
3) Centhra's Dueling Whitelist-Only -- Private server where we work on revamping Dueling while bitching about how Skill4Life is taking forever with the lobby. Jump around and chat.

Clearly, for me, this game is a glorified chatroom. That's what it is for a lot of people, and we don't mind the 'unoriginal' servers because as long as they don't break the chat feature they don't add anything to the game for us. I don't think I've joined a TDM in a year. If I have, I jumped around and got killed by other players who were playing while I chatted. This game is still interesting to me because as long as I have friends that play I have all of the original content I need.

It's getting a bit long and ranty now so I'll summarize: it's your fault that the game is boring, not the server hosts. If there isn't anything keeping you here, then leave.
