You can only shoot 5.56 in a gun chambered for 5.56. Shooting 5.56 out of an AR15 chambered for .223 is a no go.

Yeah, shot those the day after we got it, and those have ALOT more kick than .223

There's hardly a difference...

Not a fan of the new style of model, simplicity is nice but the vanilla pistol grip is just goofy.

ACU honestly isn't that bad, after a couple of patrols it's dirty enough to help you blend in. Multicam overall is the superior camo though, it's already been deployed in Afghanistan so we'll probably end up sticking with it. Atacs is gross imo and the other thing looks like disgusting walmart duck hunting camo made tacticool.

I try to post whenever potentially meaningful discussion occurs.

An officer armed with a tazer was on the way when the shooting occurred.

You don't realize that the man was an immediate threat, he was moving towards an officer. If someone's life is in danger you're not going to wait for someone with a tazer, you're going to put an end to the situation.

Always aim for the legs.  What the forget.

Yeah that makes sense in your video games but that's not how real life works. A gun is an officer's last resort, if you are shooting someone as a police officer you are eliminating the threat, you are not disabling, you are not warning, you are using deadly force. Not only does shooting someone in the legs not guarantee threat elimination but, it is much harder to hit someone's legs opposed to the center mass. NOT ONLY THAT but, even if you shoot someone in the legs it isn't guaranteed that their wound won't be non-fatal. If you hit an artery and there's no ambulance on scene the wound is likely to be fatal.

The actions of the police officers are a tad bit excessive but justifiable. If the man in the video had a knife and was moving towards an officer with it, his intention was to kill the officer. The officers are supposed to respond accordingly.

When you weigh the pros and cons, it's pretty bad.

No it's really not. Marijuana is more benign than alcohol, cigarettes, and most abusable prescription  drugs.

Drugs are bad, and the people who use them without a medical reason are stupid to use them. Even though the crime rate will go down, it's still not worth risking peoples lives.
