The game has a very high skillcap. Everyone has a jetpack, maps are huge, and the majority of the weapons are projectile weapons. There are vehicles and stuff, and loadouts are extremely customizable (though everyone uses a spinfusor anyway).
Not sure about other gamemodes, but CTF is the most common.

This is not a clan, so it wouldn't fit in that section. I made the group after getting a copy of Starsiege: Tribes, which this might be mainly focused on Tribes. Anyway, the layouts aren't going to look really nice. (Don't expect that stuff from me). Carry on.

Free-to-Join is what our aspect kind of focuses on, I plan to make it easy for people to play all those nostalgic games. You'd be thinking "Oh wow it's another one of those old skool bowl-stuff guys thinking he's cool". Not the case, I want to reunite the games from the past with the players.
It won't take long before I start getting a few members. I think we'd play games that all of us can download. Like, Starsiege: Tribes. Tribes is now legally free, so it isn't piracy downloading from the Modification Database. Same thing with Warcraft II, the Battle.net Edition (Combat Edition otherwise) is now free to download from a server actually supported by Blizzard itself.

And, if you want to play with a larger community, I would recommend doing some other Master Server. The game is community controlled kinda now.

I stumbled across this game while looking through Badspot's games. Unfortunately, no one ever plays it, but I'm going to put the download here just for those who'd be interested. I read the rules, and this is not pirated software. In fact, I can state this game as abandonware.

Starsiege: Tribes, otherwise (in some cases) referred to as Tribes, is an old fast-paced FPS game from 1998. There have been reedits, emulation, and other stuff involved in it's history, and many other games were made off of it. Without this, we wouldn't have bowl-stuff Call of Duty, Battlefield 3, and other dumbforget games. But anyway, I'll give you some info from Wikipedia about this game. Including some useful information. Some of it I just explained. And yes, it's all correct. I checked myself.

A sequel, Tribes 2, was released in March 2001. Sierra licensed the franchise to Irrational Games for a third installment, Tribes: Vengeance, which was released in October 2004.
Vivendi Universal released Tribes and Tribes 2 for free on May 4, 2004 on a DVD-ROM with Computer Gaming World magazine and on FilePlanet, in order to promote the release Tribes: Vengeance.[1]
On July 16, 2007, Sierra Entertainment announced that they would cease online support of Tribes starting on August 16, 2007.[2] As of November 2007, the Sierra Master Server is no longer active, and has been replaced by multiple community-run Master Servers.[citation needed]

Weird ass things have been happening lately, it's very dumbforgeted. One thing that's really bothering me, though, is my dreams. No they aren't Elmo dancing with Barney on a magical rainbow land, it's fighting to death. Except one thing.. It's everyone in my school. I mean, I do see blood, and I end up dying, but for some reason I still watch. It's horrifying, and it won't stop happening. It's different every time, and happens averaging every month. Yesterday, I joined (some sort of) arena in my school and saw some of my friends die. I'm not joking, this really happens. Any ideas on what I should do?
