aw yeah, a titan arrived and before it even stepped 5 tiles away from the edge of the map my army of dorfs and one of the dorfs baby lobbed it's upper half off and killed it.

Exact opposite for me. I have way too much frickin' barrels, and no need to make more booze.

I have a lot of hunters and fishers all the time and the bins and barrels I make almost always immediately get taken away. :I

Christ I can barely pump out enough barrels to hold all the booze and food I'm producing.
Also I'm working on a wonderful dining room and some more protection at the entrance of my fortress :D

What would I have to do to go about getting a legendary dining room? Smoothed + Engraved stone and waterfalls?

I had to use a vertical axle instead of a gear.

Jesus christ! I don't understand.
This is my current design:

|_<=  |
     ~
~ = Water
<= / => = Screw Pumps
I have channeled out the areas like it says on the wiki page and then put a windmill over it like this:

|  W  |
|  => |
|_<=  |
     ~

~ = Water
<= / => = Screw Pumps
W = Windmill.
The windmill doesn't power anything. Nothing at all. Not even the top stack.
When I put a gear assembly where the Windmill is and pop the windmill up a Z level it needs more power than the windmill gives off! forget!
Please somebody help me.

Yessssss I had a backup save right before I started loving around with a stuffload of stuff to attempt to power the waterfalls so I can try it again :D

If you built it based on the pump stack tower on the wiki, you just have to power the bottom pump and it will transfer power to the top.

EDIT: Nevermind, I don't have an architect to make a trade depot. Looks like I'm quite forgeted, guess I should wait for my dwarves to starve to death D:

Augh, alright, I found out I'll need more power sources to power the lower layer of pumps. :I
